Meet Chuck! He's seven years old, 65 pounds and 100% lovable. Unfortunately, Chuck's family travels too much and can no longer care for him. Legacy Humane Society is helping them find a new family who can give Chuck the time and attention he deserves. Chuck is house trained and can is trusted to roam his home when alone. He loves going for walks, rides well in the car, and loves playing in water/swimming. He is perfectly fine to relax around the house but has plenty of energy for playtime as well. He would do best in a home with another dog and is great with kids. Chuck is a gentle boy who loves being with people but can get a little nervous when he's left alone for long periods of time. He's neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She absolutely loves the water! She is very much a water dog, so a family who enjoys spending time camping, hiking or around water could be a great fit for her. Honey is already spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $125. Meet Tucker! Tucker is a handsome 3 year old Shepherd mix weighing approximately 66 pounds who has been patiently waiting for the fresh start and forever family he deserves. He was originally found near I 30 by Lakeside Veterinary Clinic in Rockwall on 05/18/26 and was never reclaimed. As of 09/23/26, Tucker has been a shelter resident for 128 days and is officially a Diamond Dog, which means his adoption fee has been reduced to $75 to help this deserving boy find his home. Tucker can be shy and a little reserved in new surroundings, but he has shown himself to be a very sweet natured dog. Once he begins to feel comfortable, he forms strong attachments to his people and enjoys staying close by their side. He is the type of dog who will happily follow his person from room to room simply because being near them is where he wants to be. Tucker is house trained and appears to enjoy the comfort and routine of a home environment. He would do best as the only pet in the home. Tucker is neutered, microchipped, and current on his annual core vaccinations. He is heartworm positive, but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, his heartworm treatment is sponsored.
