Story
Meet Boss Hog! Mr. Boss Hog wants to act like the boss but I just don’t see it. I think he has the “little man’s syndrome”. He’s all bark and no bite. He has never even nipped at his foster. He’s gentle taking treats, so your fingers are safe. Boss Hog will be the boss if you let him OR he will let you give him all the snuggles he deserves. He/she is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
Meet Polo, a super sweet 5 year old neutered male chihuahua/terrier mix with the cutest underbite! Polo weighs about 22 lbs and is full grown. Polo is a sweet, loving boy who loves to be around his person and enjoys sitting on people's laps! He can be a little nervous at first when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly.  He is good with other dogs (can be timid around larger dogs at first, but fine once he gets to know them), people, and older kids 8+ who know to respect a dog's space. He has not been cat tested, however we feel he would likely be fine with cats. Polo is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained.  From Polo's current foster:  "Polo is a wonderful dog, sometimes a little too cuddly and loving, but he has a great disposition and would make a great companion to anyone who gets to know him. He is a muscular little guy and has a snaggletooth which makes him look super cute! He would do well as an only dog or in a house with an older dog. An older couple or single person seeking a loyal companion would love him, but so would a family with kids!" Apply to meet Polo today!  ##1999722##

Story
Maxx is a judgy, adorable 2 year old neutered male chihuahua/pug mix, weighing about 10 lbs with the cutest underbite!. Maxx may start out aloof or shy when he first meets you, but once he knows you, he will own you like the cat you never thought you needed in your life (we all know cats and their judgement of their owners, lol).  He may give grumpy cat a run for her money with his adorable under bite but don't let that fool you, he is a charming little guy!. Maxx is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. He is good with other dogs who are a similar size (has not been around larger dogs), good with older kids 10+ due to his shyness, or kids who can be calm and sweet to him. He has not been cat tested, but we feel he would probably be fine with cats. His CT foster mom says he has already owned her lap, and asks for pets anytime he can get them. Apply to meet Maxx today!  ##2042214##

Story
Apply to adopt at https://brasscity1.wufoo.com/forms/zb9tvvt0qhv009/ Meet Yoda, the tiniest little beast you've ever seen. This handsome male chihuahua may be small in size, but his personality is larger than life. At just 4 years old and weighing in at a whopping 6 pounds, Yoda is the perfect lap animal for someone who wants an energetic and affectionate companion. Yoda was surrendered by his previous owner, who had a whole house full of pets. But this little alpha didn't quite fit in with the other animals, making him feel lonely and out of place. He may get bossy with small dogs, so we are no longer sure if he should live with one. He might just want to have friends and no canine siblings. Don't let his size fool you; Yoda has a big, independent streak. He loves nothing more than sitting in your lap, soaking up all the affection and then suddenly bursting into energetic zoomies around the house. He's the perfect balance of cuddly and playful, making him the ideal companion for someone who wants the best of both worlds. But, beware, Yoda is not your average chihuahua. He has a bit of a feisty side, especially when it comes to the vet. He may be a fresh there, but we promise he's an absolute sweetheart at home. He just needs some help with potty training and socialization with new people. But once he gets to know you, he'll be your constant and loving companion. Yoda is still getting used to different-sized humans, so teenage kids are better for him right now. He barks at small kids because he doesn't know what they are. A quieter house would be better for him. So, if you're looking for a tiny but mighty addition to your family, look no further than Yoda. He's ready to be your loyal and quirky companion, and all he needs is a loving home to call his own. Come meet Yoda today and see if he's the missing puzzle piece in your life. Yoda is waiting to be your faithful companion and bring love and laughter into your home.
