Red may be a bit hesitant with new people, but once you're in, you're in for life! With a little time and patience, he'll capture your heart. All you chihuahua lovers out there who appreciate the thoughtful, loyal nature of these pups, look no further than Lil Red! Lil Red had a rough start in life and was rescued from a hoarding situation. Due to that, he'll need an understanding family who will provide him the encouragement he needs to thrive. He's currently loving life in his foster home and we can't wait to share everything we've learned about him! Lil Red enjoys spending time with the other pup in the foster home and the two of them get along very well together. Like most chihuahua's he does like to call the shots, so another tolerant pup would be ideal for him. Once he feels comfortable, he'll actively seek out affection from people and is a total lover boy! He's just so happy to be by your side! This little man is still learning how much fun toys can be, and seems to enjoy tug toys and balls. When it comes time to eat, he loves anything and everything! He's made excellent strides with getting used to his leash and is on his way to being house-trained and crate-trained. At the end of the day, he sleeps quietly through the night. It's important that Lil Red's new family give him the time he'll need to trust and acclimate to his new surroundings. She is friendly and loves to be around people. She is happy to snuggle on the couch. She is very calm and rarely barks unless she is locked up away from people. She can’t see so even if you are nearby, she can’t tell, so she calls out for you. She is working on housebreaking. She goes potty outside if taken out on a regular basis and does use piddle pads. She is very fond of her daughter, Delilah. It would be nice if they could stay together. With love and attention, Mwanna would make a perfect pet.
