My name is Emmy Lou, and I am a fun-loving and affectionate dog eagerly searching for a doggy companion to enjoy my life with. As a pack dog, I have come to realize that life is too short to take on alone. So, I've decided to put myself out there and find a friend who feels the same.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 6 month old, 12lb Chihuahua that came from a home with ridiculous amount of fur-siblings (50+). It is for this reason that I have grown to gravitate towards fellow dogs moreso than himans. I love to play with toys, romp around with my foster fur-siblings, and spend time relaxing in the sun. But there's something missing—a forever partner in crime by my side.
I'm not really known for my friendly and social nature. I enjoy spending time with my humans, but from a distance and at my own pace. I genuinely believe that dogs spawn from a higher power than the two-legged beings that feed me. However together, us canines could conquer the world, one wagging tail at a time.
I really don't make a fantastic solo artist, so joining forces with a furry friend is necessary to boost my confidence in the world. Imagine the countless hours we could spend chasing each other in the backyard, wrestling playfully, and taking long afternoon naps, cuddled up in a pile of soft blankets. I promise to be a loving and loyal companion, always ready for a game of catch or a zoomie session that will leave us both panting with contentment.
Whether you're a fellow Chihuahua looking for encouragement with your anger management, a Labrador Retriever with an insatiable love for water, or a playful Golden Retriever who appreciates a good game of tug-of-war, I am open to all breeds and sizes. What matters most to me is finding a kindred spirit who shares my enthusiasm for life, love, and companionship.

My own fenced yard for us to make lasting memories in.
No children. I'm not looking for that kind of family experience; kids make me even more nervous.
Patient humans that understand that, due to my lack of socialization, I am going to bond faster with other dogs than I am with them. It may take me weeks before I trust a human enough to allow them to pet me. My foster mom basically had to force me to like her but she's grown on me - plus she feeds me which is important.
Safety and security. I might bark a big bark, but it's just a front for my insecurities.
A dog friend that I can call my own - I mean I'm willing to share my dog friend with the humans but I really want to be a dog's dog.
