Both are house-trained and crate-trained, responding well to their routine, though they might need a little extra attention during poor weather conditions (very cold weather or strong storms) to avoid accidents. They can be shy around new people and other dogs, a trait that comes from their cautious nature. June Bug is in good health, maintaining her wellness with regular dental care and check-ups. She enjoys her walks, the simple pleasures of belly rubs, and the occasional squirrel chase. Milo and June Bug are house-trained and crate-trained, comfortable with their routines but may need have accidents during extreme weather. While initially shy around new people and dogs, their cautious behavior stems from a place of fear, and a gentle, patient approach will allow their true, affectionate nature to shine through. Milo is in overall good health. Keeping up with regular dental cleanings is important for him. He's protective and deeply affectionate, often sticking close like a true 'Velcro dog.' Yuuki is around 3 years old. I had her since she was 5 months old. I rescued her from an abusive home. She is great with kids and other pets. She is pad and potty trained but does sometimes make mistakes which I believe may be from anxiety. I really hope she finds the best home because she’s a one of a kind dog and deserves it.

Meet Whiskey!! Whiskey is a 1 yr old Chihuahua mix weighing 9.5 lbs. Whiskey is in a fantastic foster home and is doing great with his house-training. He is crate-trained and knows a few commands. Whiskey is super loving and wants to be a lap dog ;-) He is very smart and learns fast. Whiskey likes other dogs. The foster does not have a cat, so cats are unknown. Whiskey is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is a GREAT little dog. Meet Chip and Dale, our chihuahua brothers. Chip is a 5-year-old male chihuahua with short hair that weighs 8 pounds. Dale is a 5-year-old male chihuahua with long hair that weighs 7.5 pounds. They have lived together their whole lives, and we promised their mommy that we would find them a wonderful home together. Chip and Dale came to us as owner surrenders when their owner became homeless. Chip and Dale have only lived with adults so we are seeking an adult-only household or a home with older teen children. Chip and Dale have lived with another small dog with no issues. They have been around cats with no issues. As always, a meet and greet with resident canines is required to make sure everyone gets along. Chip and Dale are typical chihuahuas. They need time to get to know you. They are nervous in the shelter environment but with time, we know they will come out of their shells. Chip loves to be carried and Dale seems to be the more confident big brother. They enjoy quiet time with their owners, play time and car rides. They are barkers so no apartments for these guys. They are very affectionate once they get to know you. Chip and Dale are available for our foster to adopt program which means you can foster them in your home until they finish their vetting which includes neuter, vaccines, microchip and heartworm testing.
