Story
Meet Jojo, a lovable pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is affectionate, curious, and always ready to make you smile with his playful and sometimes goofy nature. Jojo is incredibly friendly and forms strong bonds with his people, making him a loyal companion who will happily stick by your side. He gets along great with other dogs and even cats, making him a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. Jojo also loves children of all ages and would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. Jojo enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring and taking in the world around him. While he is not fully potty trained yet, he is doing well with crate training and is on the right track with consistency and patience. Jojo is looking for a patient and committed adopter who is willing to help him learn proper house training. With consistency, guidance, and a loving environment, he has all the potential to develop great habits and become a well-mannered companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving dog to grow with your family, Jojo might just be the perfect fit! Jojo weighs 13 pounds, is up to date on all his vaccines and is neutered. Jojo tested positive for heartworms when he was first rescued however he has undergone treatment and is ready for adoption. We recommend Jojo be re-tested 6 months after treatment. Jojo is being fostered in WESLACO, TEXAS. His adoption fee of $500 will include his transportation cost to an approved adopter outside of Texas. Story
Jody is a 3 yo Chihuahua/Pekingese/Shih Tzu mix. He's very sweet but a little shy at first. It takes him a few days to warm up. He came from a quiet home and would probably do best in a quieter household without children. He can be a little "snippy" when he's frightened. He's good with other dogs. He would make a great addition to the right home. For quicker response call/text 817-821-4942

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Clyde is a 5‑year‑old terrier mix weighing about 17 pounds, and he’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and understood. He’s a nervous boy at first and will need time to adjust to new people and new surroundings. Clyde can be a bit selective with his humans and may feel overwhelmed by hyper or overly pushy dogs, but once he forms a bond, he becomes the sweetest, most loyal little companion. He does GREAT with other dogs around his size as long as they respect his space and aren’t too much for him. Our veterinary team gave him a clean bill of health, and his adoption fee is $300.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Clyde, we’d be happy to help. With patience, kindness, and a little time to settle in, he’ll show you just how much love he has to give. 🐾✨

Story
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Ernie and Bert are an adorable bonded pair of Chihuahua mixes who are looking for a calm, loving home where they can stay together. Ernie is 2½ years old and weighs 19 pounds, while Bert is 1 year old and weighs 10.9 pounds. These two sweet boys rely on each other for comfort and confidence, and their bond is unmistakable — where one goes, the other happily follows. Both boys came to us needing a little extra care. Ernie had cherry eyes and overgrown back dewclaws, all of which have been fully addressed, and he is now healthy and ready for his fresh start (even if he’s carrying a few extra “love pounds”). Bert was cleared with no concerns other than having slightly teary eyes, which is common for his breed mix. Our veterinary team has given both dogs a clean bill of health.Ernie and Bert are very nervous boys at first and will do best in a quieter home environment with patient adopters who can give them time to settle in. Once they feel safe, their sweet, gentle personalities shine through. They also do wonderfully with other dogs their size and enjoy the comfort of canine companionship. The adoption fee for the pair is $400.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you’d like to meet Ernie and Bert, we’d be happy to help. They are two tenderhearted boys who find courage in each other — and they’re ready to bring double the sweetness to a patient, loving forever home. 🐾✨
