Story
Meet Charlie This sweet boy is 7 months old. He was rescued with his 3 siblings and his mom when he was 2 weeks old. His mom gave birth outside under a pile of trash. Thanks to a volunteer this little family was rescued. They had to go on a 10 hour road trip to make it to their fosters house where he has grown up. His mom has an amazing temperament and weights 10 pounds. We were curious about their breed so we did a DNA test and that revealed that he is 38% Chihuahuas, 14% poodle, 13% Chihuahuas, 11% Jack Russell. We are unsure how big he will get but we don't think he will be more than 18 pounds. Charlie enjoys playing with his siblings, mom and fosters Chihuahua. He especially loves to sit in his foster moms lap for cuddles. He enjoys toys and a good bully stick. He is pretty good about going potty on the pee pads but he is going to need a family willing to potty train him. He is a puppy so he will need a patient family that can provide training so he can grow up to be a successful dog. Charlie would do best with someone that works from home or is only gone for a few hours a day. He is a small puppy so he will need a secure fenced in yard. Charlie is fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. If there are children in the home they must be over 5 years old. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that are a good fit for the dog.

Meet Bruno This sweet boy is 7 months old with the cutest underbite. He was rescued with his 3 siblings and his mom when he was 2 weeks old. His mom gave birth outside under a pile of trash. Thanks to a volunteer this little family was rescued. They had to go on a 10 hour road trip to make it to their fosters house where he has grown up. His mom has an amazing temperament and weights 12 pounds. We were curious about their breed so we did a DNA test and that revealed that he is 38% Chihuahuas, 14% poodle, 13% Chihuahuas, 11% Jack Russell. We are unsure how big he will get but we estimate 25lb. Bruno enjoys playing with his siblings, mom and fosters Chihuahua. He is the most active puppy out of the litter so he needs someone active or plenty of enrichment. He enjoys toys and a good bully stick. He is pretty good about going potty on the pee pads but he is going to need a family willing to potty train him. Story
Jax is now available for adoption. Jax was born on December 5th, 2025. He has been in a wonderful foster home with his mama where he has been growing and learning how to be a dog. We believe his mom is a Chihuahua Pom mix and dad is unknown. Based on their current size we think they will stay under 20lb. Jax is good on a leash and enjoys walks. He is also good with other dogs. He loves to play and even go to the dog park. He also has been exposed to kids 5 and up. He is also create trained. He is almost fully potty trained but accidents may still happen since he's a puppy. Jax is fully vaccinated and microchipped. Magnolia Animal Rescue will cover his neuter when he is 6 month old with one of our approved vet partners. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Story
Frida Pawlo is a 2.5 year old, 32 lb, Chihuahua/Shiba Inu mix. We are just guessing at the breed mix since Frida was found the night before the January freeze, wandering in the middle of the road, covered in mud. She jumped right into the car of a good Samaritan stopping to help her. That Good Samaritan is now fostering her. Foster mom says that Frida is a super friendly, cuddly, and fun girl! She gets along with the resident dogs and cats. She "sings" when she's excited after getting good pets or before a meal. Frida is very food motivated! She loves to cuddle under blankets, go on car rides, or just chill out on her own. She sits on top of the couch like a cat, but also likes to lay in her crate with the door open. Frida Pawlo is full of personality and deserves a safe, loving home off the streets! Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Natasha is a six year old, 8 lb, Chihuahua mix. She looks like a Deer-Head Chihuahua, maybe with a small mix of Pomeranian. Her person is having health issues and can no longer keep her, so Humane Tomorrow promised we would find Natasha another great home. She is in excellent health due to the care she received in her previous home. Natasha is a very sweet little dog, but it may take her a little time to warm up to new people, which is understandable after the changes she has been through. She gets along great with the other small dog in her foster home, but she would also do just fine as an only dog. She also does well with the foster's 8 year old grandson, but he is used to meeting lots of new dogs. Natasha will do best in a home with kids at least 10 years old. She also needs a calm, quiet home where her people are home most of the time. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.
