Story
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Clyde is a 5‑year‑old terrier mix weighing about 17 pounds, and he’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and understood. He’s a nervous boy at first and will need time to adjust to new people and new surroundings. Clyde can be a bit selective with his humans and may feel overwhelmed by hyper or overly pushy dogs, but once he forms a bond, he becomes the sweetest, most loyal little companion. He does GREAT with other dogs around his size as long as they respect his space and aren’t too much for him. Our veterinary team gave him a clean bill of health, and his adoption fee is $300.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Clyde, we’d be happy to help. With patience, kindness, and a little time to settle in, he’ll show you just how much love he has to give. 🐾✨

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Patty Cake is an 8‑year‑old Chihuahua mix weighing about 8.5 pounds, and she’s as sweet as her name suggests. She’s a gentle, loving little girl who has done very well with other dogs her size and enjoys the calm companionship of a peaceful environment. She came to us with a growth that needed to be removed, and our veterinary team diagnosed it as a perianal gland adenoma—benign, with complete excision expected to be curative. Patty Cake has recovered wonderfully from the procedure. She does have a heart murmur, but our vets do not believe she requires medication for it at this time. Her adoption fee is $300.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Patty Cake, we’d be happy to help. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Meet Dinny! The little long-legged guy who has completely stolen our hearts. He’s still looking for his perfect family, and while his adoption fee is $300, we’re absolutely open to being flexible — he’s currently our longest‑term resident, and we’d love nothing more than to see him finally go home.Dinny is about 2 years old and weighs around 15 pounds. He’s a staff favorite thanks to his goofy, lovable personality. Around here, he’s affectionately known as “Dennis the Menace” because he adores playing tag in the yard and keeping everyone on their toes. He’s full of energy, but it’s the joyful, happy‑to‑be-alive kind that makes you smile without even trying. While he has been a bit selective with other pets in the shelter, we truly believe he has the potential to live with other animals in a home environment. Shelters can be overstimulating, and with the right family and a calmer setting, Dinny could absolutely thrive. Please note that since we don’t observe them in home settings, we can’t guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, we:Spay/neuterMicrochipProvide all vaccinationsRun blood and fecal tests (and treat anything that comes back positive)Start flea/tick and heartworm preventionOffer a free wellness exam within 7–10 days of adoptionTo adopt, you must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.Do you have any questions?
