Story
If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Ellie Mae is a precious 7‑year‑old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing 11.6 pounds, and she’s ready to find a loving home where she can feel safe and cherished again. This sweet girl came to a local animal control after her owner passed away. She arrived with another dog, but while family members reclaimed that one, Ellie Mae was sadly left behind. Despite all the change and loss she’s experienced, she has remained gentle, affectionate, and incredibly resilient. She has done wonderfully with the other dogs here at the facility and has shown nothing but kindness and calm companionship. Our veterinary team has given her a clean bill of health, and her adoption fee is $300.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age-appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Ellie Mae, we’d be happy to help. She has so much love left to give, and she’s more than ready to share it with someone who will treasure her. 🐾✨

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‑984‑1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Clyde is a 5‑year‑old terrier mix weighing about 17 pounds, and he’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and understood. He’s a nervous boy at first and will need time to adjust to new people and new surroundings. Clyde can be a bit selective with his humans and may feel overwhelmed by hyper or overly pushy dogs, but once he forms a bond, he becomes the sweetest, most loyal little companion. He does GREAT with other dogs around his size as long as they respect his space and aren’t too much for him. Our veterinary team gave him a clean bill of health, and his adoption fee is $300.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age‑appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Clyde, we’d be happy to help. With patience, kindness, and a little time to settle in, he’ll show you just how much love he has to give. 🐾✨
