Story
Meet Pippa! She is in need of a foster or foster-to-adopt Pippa is a sweet 20 pound Chihuahua mix who has finished raising her puppies and is now ready to find her forever home. All of her puppies have found homes and now it’s her turn! Pippa is about 2–3 years old, mostly potty trained, and full of personality. Because of her spunky nature, she’d do best in a home with children 13 and up! She has been spayed and is current with all her vaccines. Pippa would do fine as the only pup in the home. An apartment would not be an appropriate home for her as needs space to expend her energy. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Meet Bob!Bob is 1year old, neutered, and fully vetted Chihuahua mix. Bob is a lover at heart and the BEST snuggle-bug! He craves human connection and affection, although initially he is scared of people and needs time to trust and feel safe. Once he learns that he is safe, he wants to be your shadow! Nights will never be lonely again with Bob by your side! He’s dog friendly, but LOVES his human more. Bob is house trained with frequent visits outside and crate trained, but he’d rather stay with you.At a teeny 8lbs, Bob would make a great addition to an adults only household willing to let him decompress for a few days, as he gets to know you and your routine. As a timid Chihuahua, he’ll need a day or two to adjust and someone who is patient enough to allow Bob to come to them. After that he’s the best little companion. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Meet Pontoon!Pontoon is a three-year-old, 15-pound Chihuahua mix with a gentle soul. He came to us from a hoarding situation, where he lived in a trailer with many other small dogs, and he’s now discovering what it means to feel safe and loved. Pontoon is heartworm-negative, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and crate trained. He’s still polishing his house-training skills, but he’s making great progress. Quiet and shy at first, Pontoon blossoms once he’s comfortable—and then his true nature shines as a total snuggle bug who loves calm companionship. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Meet Parker!Parker is a sweet 4 month old Chihuahua mix who is still learning that the world is a safe and loving place. This gentle boy came into foster care very shy, but with time, patience, and a calm environment, he’s slowly beginning to open up — and it’s been wonderful to watch his personality emerge. He is a quiet, thoughtful little guy who prefers to observe from a distance until he feels comfortable. He’s still too shy to come up for pets, but he`s getting braver every day. Once Parker trusts you, you can see the spark of playfulness start to show! He loves running around the yard doing zoomies and showing off his happy, silly side. He is also a sock thief — he loves to gather socks and bits of clothing and gently carry them back to his kennel like treasured souvenirs. It’s part of his comfort routine and just adds to his charm.Parker will thrive in a patient, low-pressure home with another friendly dog who can show him the ropes and help him continue growing his confidence. He’s not ready for a lot of handling yet, but with time and trust, he has the potential to blossom into a loving, loyal companion.Parker is a quiet soul with a big heart. Watching him learn to trust, play, and enjoy life is incredibly rewarding. If you’re looking for a gentle dog who just needs someone to believe in him, Parker is ready to start that journey with you.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Story
Please Read everything before you show that you are interested. We found him as a baby and have cared for him, but he needs a home where he is treated well and cared for. He’s has had his basic shots for the past two years, i have paid about a hundred each time, nothing fancy. Also he is not used to potty inside but will let you know when he needs to go outside and take care of business. If you expect more from a free dog. Go to a fancy place. Milo is full of energy and healthy, but I would rather that he goes to a person who needs a good companion. My kids don’t care for him anymore. Thats the main reason I am giving him up. he is a little over two years old. Playful and curious.
