Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care. HISTORY: Noah and Allie were found abandoned in a field. Both had cheatgrass embedded into their skin, and Noah had cheatgrass barbs in his eye. Motley Zoo was asked to find them a great forever home and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: W hen you look at Allie Hamilton, all you can think about is the quote from The Notebook that says, "All this time, that's what I've been missing?" Allie is a sweet and spunky little rocket. Allie is definitely the eyes (literally) of the operation and will be looking out for Noah any chance she gets. She always wants to play with her brother in the morning and once they've played and gone on a walk, she's ready to relax. Allie can be timid when meeting new people, but once she warms up to you, you will have her trust and she will show that to you, especially when you turn the corner and she's there waiting for you. This is presumably Allie's first real home so she is getting used to being on the leash and neighborhood noises, but she is warming up quickly. You know the quote from the Notebook that goes "We fell in love, despite our differences...", well who couldn't fall in love with Noah Calhoun? His one eye and underbite will win you over on first glance. Noah is a big couch potato but will come up and do a biiigggg stretch on you - literally uses you to stretch. Noah is still learning how to be a dog, so he is a little fearful on the leash but is motivated by hot dogs and being with his sister, Allie. When Noah isn't wrestling with his sister, he is lounging on the couch. Noah is a fairly low energy dog who will always play with his sister when he's bored - and sometimes sit on top of her. Noah and Allie are just now realizing what it's like to have a safe space so they can be timid and take some time to warm up to new people but once they do, they are full of love and kisses. Noah and Allie will make someone's home 8 legs and 3 eyes more full. All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup! ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew December 8, 2023, 2:09 pm
