Story
Adorable little Daisy is just a bit over 18mo and she weighs 12lbs. She is a very sweet girl that can be a little shy when first meeting new people. She is very food motivated so with just a treat or two she quickly opens up to become your best friend. She loves to go on walks and explore, so this is another great, bonding exercise. Daisy enjoys running and playing with dogs her own size so another dog in the home would be ideal, but it’s not required. She must at least have periodic play dates. She is a quiet girl that is fully house trained and crate trained so she can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of hours. She has not been socialized with toddlers and they make her a little nervous so kids must be over 12yrs old. A fenced yard would be best.

Story
Meet a timid lady Bombom🩷(bom 봄 means spring in Korean) Even though she is still wary of people, she is getting better little by little. Bombom is learning to get adapted to spending time with her foster and foster family inside the house. She has not tried to walk outside yet. *Separation anxiety: A home camera was installed in the house to see Bombom when the foster family went outside, and Bombom she was waiting and missing her foster family. *Potty-training: Bombom mostly stays indoors and can perfectly go in the center of the potty pad!💯 * Energy Level (1~10): Level 2 * Socialization -People: Curious about people but still scared. When her fam approach her, she tends to step backward. Still gets nervous and flinches when someone tries to touch her but doesn’t move away from her spot. She’ll take treats if her family is holding them. Once in a while, she approaches her foster and the family first! She can get nervous and tremble if she makes eye contact with human strangers. She moves away when someone suddenly comes at her. -Dogs: She gets along with the foster's dog. *She's still scared of Bombom’s surroundings and everything in the world. To protect herself, she “growls” but doesn’t show other aggressive behavior. When Bombom learns to build up trusting relationships with people and there are more enjoyable things than scary things in the world, it will be a great help for her to adapt to a new environment! *Bark: Doesn’t bark at all. *Is possible to bathe her but Bombom is still scared and uncomfortable with bathing and tries to move away.

Story
Hi there, potential forever friend! I'm Yiho, a sweet 1-year-old Chihuahua mix, and I've got a heart full of love to share. I weigh a petite 4kg, making me a lovely and cute friend for you. I had a rough start but was rescued from an animal hoarding situation in Asan City back in 2022. Initially shy around strangers, I warm up quickly and become a bundle of affection and charm. I love cuddles and would be thrilled to be your loyal companion. While I may exchange polite greetings with other dogs, I prefer enjoying my own company rather than engaging in play. Quiet strolls for walks suit me best, as bustling roads make me nervous. After our walks, I'm content to relax at a leisurely pace, embracing the calm after the excitement. Mealtime is a breeze with me—I don't mind sharing with you or other dogs. I'm a well-behaved in my crate, although I do need a comforting hug when it comes to riding in cars. Ready to welcome a delightful, pint-sized friend into your life? Come meet me, Yiho, and let's embark on a journey of love and companionship together! https://youtube.com/shorts/AUU989pHBSw?si=2pfl6Jflsb9h1y_o https://youtu.be/R3gPt3N_ZHU?si=NO_nQX0vFrKjJh8U https://youtu.be/fT5-swHlC-0?si=yfPP4nE1hobryoX3

Story
↵     ↵ ** They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together **   NAME: Noah Calhoun and Allie Hamilton (from "The Notebook")   AGE/GENDER: Both are 2 years old. Allie is a female; Noah is a male.   BREED: Chihuahua mix with a touch of dachshund, shih tzu, poodle, miniature pinscher, pomeranian and maltese per Embark   TEMPERAMENT: Noah is sweet, affectionate and laidback. Allie is happy, spunky, and sweet.   WEIGHT: Noah is 20 pounds. Allie is 15 pounds.   HOUSE TRAINING: Good!   CRATE TRAINING: They are content to sleep snuggled up together in the crate at night.   OTHER DOGS: Good.   CATS: They would do best in a home without cats.   CHILDREN: They have not been around children but may do well with older children.   ADOPTION DONATION: $1,050 for the pair   HEALTH:  They are healthy! Noah had an enucleation of his left eye, but is doing great!    They are spayed/neutered , microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and current on vaccines.  Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental costs of care.    HISTORY: Noah and Allie were found abandoned in a field. Both had cheatgrass embedded into their skin, and Noah had cheatgrass barbs in his eye. Motley Zoo was asked to find them a great forever home and that is exactly what we plan to do!   NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME:    W hen you look at Allie Hamilton, all you can think about is the quote from The Notebook that says, "All this time, that's what I've been missing?" Allie is a sweet and spunky little rocket. Allie is definitely the eyes (literally) of the operation and will be looking out for Noah any chance she gets. She always wants to play with her brother in the morning and once they've played and gone on a walk, she's ready to relax. Allie can be timid when meeting new people, but once she warms up to you, you will have her trust and she will show that to you, especially when you turn the corner and she's there waiting for you. This is presumably Allie's first real home so she is getting used to being on the leash and neighborhood noises, but she is warming up quickly.    You know the quote from the Notebook that goes "We fell in love, despite our differences...", well who couldn't fall in love with Noah Calhoun? His one eye and underbite will win you over on first glance. Noah is a big couch potato but will come up and do a biiigggg stretch on you - literally uses you to stretch. Noah is still learning how to be a dog, so he is a little fearful on the leash but is motivated by hot dogs and being with his sister, Allie. When Noah isn't wrestling with his sister, he is lounging on the couch. Noah is a fairly low energy dog who will always play with his sister when he's bored - and sometimes sit on top of her. Noah and Allie are just now realizing what it's like to have a safe space so they can be timid and take some time to warm up to new people but once they do, they are full of love and kisses. Noah and Allie will make someone's home 8 legs and 3 eyes more full.        All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and Martingale collar (or a harness, if necessary), depending on each dog's particular needs. Each dog also receives a "Tour Gear Bag" full of brochures, coupons, and supplies for your new pup!   ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes (or partnering pet stores) where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing and same day adoption. Due to the volunteer run structure and decentralized/ virtual  nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals. If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application (the auto-responder also has a link to our application). We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend! Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment Dog Daycare" in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org. Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information! Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend. Rock on- The Motley Zoo Crew December 8, 2023, 2:09 pm
