Sally, George, and Anderson are currently in Bellingham looking for their forever homes! They're approx 13 weeks old. We rescued them from California. Anderson was 8lbs 9oz Oct 16th at the vet. Sally was 5lbs 14oz at the vet. George was 6lbs 3oz at the vet. They're chihuahua terrier mixes and will likely grow to be 10-20lbs each. They will need training in all aspects. Meet Darla! This sweet girl was rescued from a less than ideal situation. She and her sister Sally were mainly kept outside in the backyard with little to no contact with the owners. As a result, Darla is a little under-socialized. Darla is a very affectionate and sweet girl. It takes her a little time to warm up to a new person, but once she trusts you she will be your best buddy. She loves being with her people and likes to be near you all the time. She is friendly with other dogs though she can be a little jealous about sharing the attention of the humans in the home. This is already improving with some simple training techniques. Darla likes taking walks and is becoming more confident every day. We would love to see her in a home with a patient person who is dedicated to helping her continue to blossom. She will do best in a home without young children - the unpredictable movements of children can spook her a little. Darla is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Meet Lulu! This cute little fur ball is just 3 months old and only around 4-5 lbs. She will stay fairly small and will grow to about 12 lbs as an adult. Lulu is a sweet girl full of personality. She is playful, social, hilarious and a typical puppy. At this age, puppies need training and socialization so we are looking for a loving family who will be dedicated to that. Lulu loves to play and zoom around. She is great with children and other dogs but has never met a cat (she can learn at this age). Lulu is on a puppy vaccination schedule, is microchipped and de-wormed. She will be spayed, at our cost, between 8-12 months of age. Meet Jazz! Jazz is the sweetest, friendliest little companion who would happily spend her day curled up next to you on the couch. She adores people and bonds quickly—it doesn’t take her long to decide you’re her new best friend. Jazz thrives with company, whether it’s her humans or another dog; she’s perfectly content being left alone as long as she has an animal buddy nearby. She enjoys her walks and loves romping around the yard. While she can be a bit unsure when meeting new people or dogs out in the world, a little reassurance from her humans helps her feel confident and ready to make new friends. At home, she’s a pup who simply wants to be wherever you are, happy to snooze on the couch or in her bed. Jazz is also cat-friendly and currently lives with two resident cats—she politely gives them their space and fully respects that they're in charge. She is potty trained but likes to go out frequently, and does great in her crate. Jazz would do great in a home with other dogs, or by herself. She will need somewhere with easy access to an outdoor potty area, ideally a yard. Anyone would be incredibly lucky to welcome this sweet girl into their home. Jazz has had some health issues while in our care (pancreatitis, gastroenteritis) and has received extensive medical care for this. She is now in good health! She does have cherry eye in both eyes and this will be repaired at our cost when she has fully settled into her new home. Jazz is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped.
