Story
Hi there I am Chiquilin,They say wonderful things come in small packages. I think they must have been talking about me!I am pretty small but I have a huge heart full of love for people. Cuddling is one of my favorite things. For a young pup, I am a pretty mellow fellow. But if you want to go out walking I would love to join you too. Once I am introduced to other dogs I love to play with them. I don't like other dogs to get close to my food bowl though, you know ""what's mine is mine"". I know if you go out, I should just wait for you to come back so we can have more cuddles. If you are looking for a small bundle of love to share your life then I could be just the package. Just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Yours forever,Chiquilin To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Hi! I am Pan, short name for a short little gal! But don’t let my size fool you, I am a very confident pup who likes to lead the pack. I am ok with other dogs but mostly I just ignore them. I like kids and I like to be on my best behavior around them. Did you know they are pretty unpredictable? Cats, well I haven’t been around any for a while so I am not sure how I would react to one. I never had much of a chance to learn how to play with toys but one of my favorite things is cuddling and getting hugs from my human.Car rides are fun especially if they end up in a fun place like the beach. I don’t get car-sick unless of course, I pick up something nasty at the beach. What I really need is someone who can teach me to be the best dog I can be. I know if we work on it together it will happen in no time. If it sounds like I am the pup you have been waiting for then just fill in the application and meet over a Zoom call.Lots of love, Pan To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Meet Jada! This sweetheart was found in Yakima in an orchard together with Jill. They were starving and dehydrated so they had probably been there for some time. They are now safe with us and nearly ready for a forever home.  Jada is a very sweet girl. She loves people and greets everyone with enthusiasm. She loves a good scratch or belly rub and is always (always!) game for a walk.  She does need a secured fence so she does not go off checking out the world without you. She will need you to hang with her in the yard until she knows this is home.  Jada loves to snuggle, fall asleep on you and hang out with you doing nuthin! Jada will do best with slow intro to other dogs but she does like them.  Jada is vaccinated and spayed and will be chipped before adoption. Her adoption fee is $395.    We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Oh Jill, you are so sweet! Even though you and Jada (also posted) were abandoned in an abandoned orchard in Yakima, your spirits keep us all smiling and laughing. Jill is about 2 years old and small enough to scoop up for cuddles. She is good with other dogs, curious, fun, adorable, soft, and smart! She loves nothing more than cuddles and will follow you around to make sure you give her plenty.  Jill hasn't been given much in her short life and we have aimed to change that. She is so ready to learn more, go on glorious walks with you and snuggle and play.  Jill wil be chipped and vaccinated. She will be spayed shortly. Her adoption fee is $395 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Welcome Valentine to the CCPAL Rescue. She is a 10-pound Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix. She and the litter were born under a trailer in Texas in the winter. A couple of the puppies didn’t make it. They are 10 months old. Valentine has a beautiful heart on her chest. Despite their upbringing they are very affectionate and like to be petted and cuddled. Their tail has been cut off by the owners and not a vet. They are at varying lengths. A couple of them are cut completely off. Valentine got her Bordatella, Nexguard and her Distemper vaccine today. She will be scheduled for spay soon and get her Rabies. She was very quiet and loved to be cuddled by the volunteer staff at the shelter. Once you picked them up they came to the front of their kennel ready to be picked up. The car ride was their first one and they drooled and got a little motion sick. They are adorable dogs and very deserving of a new home where they are the center of attention for their family. They would be great for anyone wanting a loving lap companion. They are small enough to be carried easily and while they do have a voice they are relatively quiet for their breed. We would love someone who has owned a Chihuahua before. They are great dogs and not too big of shedders. Their teeth are sparkly white and will not need cleanings for a while. They are in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video!!

Story
Sully is a 10-year-old Chihuahua (maybe some corgi) mix. He weighs 15 lbs. Sully was in a previous rescue but thought his chances were better here in WA. He can be snuggly but also high-strung. He’s friendly and seeks out attention but he can give warning if he doesn’t know you and he feels you’re being more friendly than he wants you to be .The last rescue described him as a grumbly old man but it’s mostly he’s set in his ways and stubborn. He’s not a dog that wants to be told what to do. He just needs need some room to make up his mind about trusting you . What’s great about Sully is he’s fun and energetic and loves to go on a walk about . He’s goofy and outgoing . He is neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. His fee is $350.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Thumbelina from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 2 yr old  female Pomeranian.  I am about 5 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am  friendly and was saved from a Korean Breeding Puppy Farm.  I was rescued with many others by local activists that were shocked and cried at the conditions we were in. I was scared and only known life  in a small cage. I was badly neglected. Many of us had to have our teeth removed because of the horrible things we were fed and lots of us tried to chew the bars that snapped our teeth. Korea kills estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me. I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,695 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care. Please remember we do not guarantee breed and  age.   Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org    for an adoption application.
