Story
Meet Jerry, a lovable guy with a heart as big as his adorable eyes! Jerry is a goofy boy who is sure to bring joy and lots of laughs to your life. With his playful spirit and affectionate nature, he will be your loyal companion through life's adventures. Jerry was rescued from a hoarding situation with 20 dogs in an apartment. Because of this he is a little shy for the first day or 2 but after he warms up he thinks the best spot for him is in your lap! He is still learning the world so be a little patient with him but he will fill your life with lots of love. Jerry is about 2 yrs old and weighs 20 lbs. We don't know what breed he is but our best guess is some type of terrier mix and maybe chihuahua. He is great with other dogs and is crate trained. Jerry is located in Texas. His adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport and includes current shots, microchip, neuter and negative heart worm test. If you are interested in adopting Jerry please complete the adoption application at the link below. Story
Buttons is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Buttons can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life—in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Buttons is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. Meet Buttons! 🐾 Breed: Chihuahua Age: 1 Year Old Weight: 8 lbs Gender: Male (Neutered) If you are looking for a gentle, pint-sized companion to fill your home with quiet devotion, meet Buttons! True to his name, this sweet boy is as cute as a button and weighs a delicate 8 pounds. His Personality Buttons is a uniquely quiet and calm little guy who rarely barks. While he is currently staying with us at the rescue, the loud, chaotic environment of barking kennel mates is a bit too overwhelming for his sensitive soul. He is a gentle spirit who truly blossoms when things are peaceful. Ideal Home Buttons is looking for a quiet, low-key forever home where he can finally relax and let his true personality shine. Because loud noises and high energy can make him nervous, a calm household would be his absolute dream come true. He does well with other smaller dogs who match his gentle demeanor, making him a great potential companion for another little pup. Skills & Habits Crate Trained: Buttons is a champ in his crate! He settles down nicely and does well sleeping in his crate at night. Car Rides: Need a travel buddy? He rides quietly and safely when crated in the car. Housebreaking: He is still learning the ropes of housebreaking and will need a patient adopter willing to help him establish a good routine. He does go potty immediately when he is taken outside. Favorite Things: There is nothing Buttons loves more than burrowing into soft, warm blankets and playing with his toys. One Tiny Postscript from Buttons... 🤫 "So, full disclosure: sometimes my emotions get just a little too big for my 8-pound body. If I get super nervous or excited, I might leave you a tiny 'happy puddle' or a little sprinkle of stage fright. It's just my way of saying 'I'm trying my best here!' The good news? I am officially neutered now, so my rescue friends are very hopeful that this little nervous habit will start tapering off as I settle into a secure, predictable routine." Buttons is a sweet, tender-hearted young dog who just needs a quiet corner of the world to call his own. If you have a peaceful home, a patient heart, and a ready supply of paper towels for the occasional transition-period oopsie, Buttons is waiting to be your loyal little shadow! Video of Buttons: https://youtube.com/shorts/1E6tJj972D0?si=Smvkli35MHjxUHKE His adoption includes: Fully Vetted: Buttons is already neutered and up-to-date on all his essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella). Prevention: He has been dewormed and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm negative and is on prevention. Safety First: To ensure he is in tip-top shape for his new family, he will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate—all performed within 10 days of his transport date. Adoption Details Buttons’ adoption fee is $1,200. This fee is all-inclusive, covering his neuter, all veterinary care listed above, and his seat on a professional transport service dedicated to getting him safely to your area. Apply First: Please start by filling out our adoption application here: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 Follow Up: After submitting your application, feel free to reach out to us via email at luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com or via text/call at 580-257-0622. Story
Reese is a sweet dog who loves every person he meets. He loves going to the vet or being in any environment where he can be the center of attention. Reese would do best with an experienced owner with a lot of time on their hands. He was raised around a cat and wants to play with them more than anything else. He has had a lot of exposure with dogs and with time can become used to them but he’s pretty shy around dogs initially.

Story
Meet Roda – A Tiny Pomeranian with a Big Heart Looking for Her Forever Family   Roda is a 4-year-old, 4 kg spayed female Pomeranian who was surrendered by her previous owner. Despite everything she’s been through, she hasn’t lost her sweet, loving personality.   She adores people and is happiest when she’s curled up beside you or being held in your arms.   She may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but a few treats are all it takes to win her over. Once she trusts you, she becomes an affectionate little shadow who loves cuddles and companionship.   Roda isn’t very interested in other dogs and would be happiest as the center of someone’s world. While she can live with another calm, easygoing dog, she would also thrive as an only dog where she can soak up all the love and attention.   Personality   Sweet, affectionate, and loves cuddles Loves being close to her people Comfortable being picked up and held Moderate energy level Loves walks and exploring new scents Uses both pee pads and goes potty outside Calm and well-behaved in a crate   Social Skills   Greets unfamiliar dogs politely but prefers people over dogs Doesn’t have much interest in playing with other dogs Shows little interest in cats during walks Has not been tested with young children   Health   Spayed Fully vaccinated Heartworm tested Recently had a professional dental cleaning   Roda has Alopecia X, a cosmetic coat condition that is relatively common in Pomeranians. After a thorough evaluation by a veterinary dermatologist, thyroid disease, Cushing’s disease, parasites, and infectious skin diseases have all been ruled out. This condition does not affect her health, quality of life, or lifespan—it simply means her coat is thinner than normal. Regular skin care and gentle grooming are recommended, but she is otherwise a happy, healthy little girl.   Like many small-breed dogs, her back legs are a bit delicate, so avoiding excessive jumping and maintaining a healthy weight will help keep her comfortable.   Roda’s Perfect Home   If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who loves cuddles more than anything, Roda could be your perfect match. She doesn’t care if your home is big or small—as long as she’s by your side.   Her fur may be a little different, but her heart is absolutely perfect.   Could you be the family Roda has been waiting for? Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  PLEASE ALSO VISIT OUR FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM! Currently in Korea She can arrive in Toronto on July 4th! Apply today and be ready to welcome this sweet little girl home. ##2773540##

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org My name is Mac Fox and I am a wonderful estimated  6 year old, 12.6 lb. male Pomeranian.  I was rescued from a local shelter.  I am so excited to find my forever home soon.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your very best friend.  I get along well with all people but can be a little nervous on first meeting .  I will do best in a home with a loving family that can give me lots of  love and affection!  Our pet rescue dog trainer would be happy to come to your home and help train me and this is highly recommended.  My adoption fee of $1095. covers Spay/Neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordatella, Deworm,Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate, and help save the next dog.  The adoption fee is firm and helps cover the medical expenses of our other rescue dogs in need.    A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.
