Stitch von Sonne is a beautiful 11-12 month old Retriever mixed with Border Collie, but we're just guessing. MEET STITCH!! This loyal and handsome Retriever mix (our best guess) was dumped in a neighborhood where he stayed for 5 days waiting for his family to return. He was rescued by concerned neighbors and is in a loving foster home. Stitch was so scared the first few days, but with a gentle patient touch, other dogs to play with, and a warm bed and good food, he is thriving. Stitch is a medium energy guy who is very smart and playful. He adores other dogs and is potty trained! He takes a little time to warm up to new people but will be sleeping in your lap in no time. He is great with the young kids in the home, loves to be near his people, and is a WATER DOG!! This pup adores the pool and was swimming his first day in his foster home. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. When the cats run away or hides, he doesn't look for it or chase them. ▶ (relationship with people) : He loves people so much. And he is friendly and good with kids. ▶ (house trained) : Outdoor defecation He urinates while he is taking a walk. He defecates outside the house twice normally. (He never urinates or defecates at home!) ▶ (walks on leash) : He has no resistance to leash. He jumps when he greets people. But He is often not favorable to other dogs. When the other dog shows little bit of aggressiveness then Deok Bae takes an attacking stance or barks. I joined this family as an adult and fit right in. We had meals together and shared lots of good times. Life was pretty much perfect! And, then suddenly it wasn’t. My family had to give me up. Now I am at the local animal shelter and it’s rough. The shelter is over-crowded so I don’t get out of my kennel much. I spend a lot of time pacing, jumping, and bumping my nose against the kennel. I am soooo stressed out! Once I get out of the kennel, I’m a different dog. Here’s my resume! ~ Great personality -- happy, friendly, engaging, outgoing, curious ~ Affectionate & loving -- I want to be close and will lean right into you ~ Smart -- I know “sit”, take treats gently, and am treat motivated ~ Playful -- have ball, will chase! ~ Handsome, if I do say so myself -- lion’s mane around my neck & a fluffy tail I am youngster and would love an active lifestyle and daily walks.
