Pinto was one of 7 pups that came to us with their Mom, Paisley. They were very fearful and unsocialized. Over time we rehabilitated 3 of his siblings and they were adopted. Pinto is now showing signs of progress and for the right home, is ready. A loving and patient home is what he needs to overcome his remaining fears but he is loving and wants to be your good boy! Mork came in with Mindy where they were part of a large group of dogs that were abandoned in a poor area known for stray dogs. They survived because a few people in that area fed them, and 1 lady in particular tries to help as many as she can. We took them to get them off the street and give them a better life. These are sweet dogs that just need a chance to show you their personalities and their love. Rescued dogs like this make great pets because they are so grateful. Mork is a favorite here at the rescue. We think Mork is a Retriever, and Collie or Shepherd. He did well in the car and everyone at the Vet's office fell in love with him. He can be adopted alone or with Mindy. This handsome boy needs a very special person in his life, as he struggles to trust many humans. Prince might like someone immediately, but it is rare. He did not like his foster mom at all initially, but now he is loving and adoring of her. He is an outgoing and fun dog once he chooses to trust someone; otherwise, he makes it clear that he prefers to be left alone. Prince lives with many other dogs and is exceptionally playful with the smaller dogs in his home. He has not been cat tested, but ignores the cats in their catio in his foster home. He has learned to accept and walk on a leash and even enjoys going for walks now. He is house-trained and has good house manners, which is excellent because he hates being in a crate.He needs a home with minimal people coming and going, and/or a place where he can be away from those who do not live with him, and where there are no young children. His perfect home would be with his human, and how many other dogs his human would like to have live with them.Prince is fully vetted, current with vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.

She’s spayed, fully vetted, and ready for her forever home. Panda showed up as a stray at the Euless shelter after having a litter of puppies. She was emaciated and malnourished, but with lots of TLC in foster care, she’s blossoming into the happy, affectionate girl she was always meant to be. Why Panda is special: • Great with all people and very people-oriented • Smart and social with other dogs • House-trained and doesn’t need a kennel • Knows sit and takes treats gently • Eats well (very enthusiastically!) and is gaining healthy weight • Loves soft beds, cozy blankets, and sunny spots • Enjoys curling up next to her Lab mix foster “sister” • Breaks out an adorable wiggle-wag when she’s happy • Transitioned easily from shelter life to a home environment Panda clearly seems to have lived in a home before and thrives in a calm, loving space. Meet Bravo, a 35-pound sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. While he may be a little timid at first, he warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate, loyal companion. Bravo gets along well with other dogs and shows no signs of food aggression. He’s still working on building his confidence, doorways and new environments can be a little scary but he’s improving every day and walking better on a leash with each outing. Bravo is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home would be best. With a little patience and a lot of love, he’ll thrive in a calm, caring home where he can continue to blossom.

Tulip is such a wonderful girl. She is quite timid at first but warm up to her people. She is good with other dogs but does like to chase smaller animals. She loves scratches and belly rubs. She is house trained and wonderful on a leash. She will even go outside without a leash and listen to recall. Tulip is very gentle and loves toys but does not seem to enjoy fetching. While I am very sad to have to rehome her, she has not been getting along with our other dog who is a female. I feel she would do best in a home where there are other male dogs or a submissive female. She doesn’t like being crated or isolated - a home where she can get all the love and attention would be best.

Story

I rescued this dog injured in the center of a rural county road in December and he has been with me ever since. This soulful dog is available for a new home anytime! He is just such a mellow, happy, goofy guy and he deserves so much more time with humans that we can give. He would be great in an apartment with regular walks or a home with a yard. He was very good with pre-teen kids and decent on a leash. He has played well with dogs of all sizes. He is not very reactive and is pretty easy to redirect. He is a great dog for someone that wants a low maintenance pal to play with and then nap the other 20 hours a day. He is good on his own, no separation anxiety or destructive tendencies and he has shown minimal resource guarding and now that he is eating regular he is doing a good job of not overeating and will only eat when he is hungry. He does seem to want to chase the cats and so I would recommend a home with no cats or with young cats that can get away.

We received Daisy when she was 10 weeks old. She is 2 years old (born around January of 2024). Daisy is a very snuggly cuddly lap dog. She is not super adventerous, but does enjoy going on walks and laying out in the sun and in the grass. Her favorite things to do are laying on her bed or in your lap with lots of love and pets. She is very smart and listens well to commands like sitting, staying, or coming when called. She is very social and loves meeting new humans and dogs alike. She loves kids and babies, but does get so excited that she jumps up to kiss and greet everyone she meets, but there is not a mean bone in her body. She is a real sweetheart and would be perfect in a home that will show her lots of love and affection.
