This handsome boy needs a very special person in his life, as he struggles to trust many humans. Prince might like someone immediately, but it is rare. He did not like his foster mom at all initially, but now he is loving and adoring of her. He is an outgoing and fun dog once he chooses to trust someone; otherwise, he makes it clear that he prefers to be left alone. Prince lives with many other dogs and is exceptionally playful with the smaller dogs in his home. He has not been cat tested, but ignores the cats in their catio in his foster home. He has learned to accept and walk on a leash and even enjoys going for walks now. He is house-trained and has good house manners, which is excellent because he hates being in a crate.He needs a home with minimal people coming and going, and/or a place where he can be away from those who do not live with him, and where there are no young children. His perfect home would be with his human, and how many other dogs his human would like to have live with them.Prince is fully vetted, current with vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.

Mork came in with Mindy where they were part of a large group of dogs that were abandoned in a poor area known for stray dogs. They survived because a few people in that area fed them, and 1 lady in particular tries to help as many as she can. We took them to get them off the street and give them a better life. These are sweet dogs that just need a chance to show you their personalities and their love. Rescued dogs like this make great pets because they are so grateful. Mork is a favorite here at the rescue. We think Mork is a Retriever, and Collie or Shepherd. He did well in the car and everyone at the Vet's office fell in love with him. He can be adopted alone or with Mindy. Age: 1 year Weight: 40lb Feyre, pronounced FAY-RUH, is named after the brave, strong heroine of the ACOTAR book series. Feyre loves people, loves other dogs and is super playful. Her perfect evening consists of play time (she loves to fetch) or a walk, followed by snuggles on the couch. It's a big plus if belly rubs are included. Feyre's start in life wasn't ideal - at 1 year old she's already had a litter of pups and been dumped at the shelter with them. Luckily they made it into a foster home, she raised her pups, and now she's ready to start her new life! New places still make her a little nervous but she's getting better every day - she just needs a few minutes to feel safe when she encounters new things/places. She most likely wasn't exposed to much and never walked on a leash prior to landing at the shelter. Feyre is super smart and learning new things every day. She can't wait to find a family and would LOVE to have a doggie friend that likes to run and play. Feyre is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. We call her Orphan Annie since we found her abandoned on a hiking trail. Sort of amazing now that we have gotten to know her and that she stayed in one place long enough to be rescued.Annie is probably a Stubby Tail Cattle Dog, very much an Australian Cattle Dog with an emphasis on being active and engaged. Annie is typical of the herding breed, meant to nip at others to direct where to go. For this reason, she would not be good in a home with young children and is the kind of girl who needs a job.Annie loves being active and into everything. She usually has two speeds, sleeping, and full blast; unless she is one-on-one with her human when she is totally engaged. She is smart and would be a terrific girl to train for just about any high activity - herding, agility, anything that keeps her thinking and able to get praise for doing the right thing.This beautiful, compact girl will give back 200 percent and is capable of complex tasks; high endurance and willingness to please. Meet Holly! This sweet, gentle girl is approximately 4-5 years old and 57 lbs. After being found by a kind citizen, her previous owner was located through her microchip but was sadly unable to take her back due to life circumstances. Now she's in foster care she's ready for a fresh start with a family of her own. Holly is a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she loves pets and attention. She's generally calm but enjoys getting outside to run and play, especially with her best friend Duke. She also rides well in the car and enjoys the company of other dogs. Holly will need a patient family willing to give her time to build trust and confidence. She hasn't mastered basic commands yet, and training has been a challenge as she learns to feel comfortable with her people. She'll need understanding, consistency, and time to come out of her shell. She does well with children, but older kids are preferred because she can be skittish. Holly is crate trained, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and has received 12-month heartworm prevention.
