Story
Mork came in with Mindy where they were part of a large group of dogs that were abandoned in a poor area known for stray dogs. They survived because a few people in that area fed them, and 1 lady in particular tries to help as many as she can. We took them to get them off the street and give them a better life. These are sweet dogs that just need a chance to show you their personalities and their love. Rescued dogs like this make great pets because they are so grateful. Mork is a favorite here at the rescue. We think Mork is a Retriever, and Collie or Shepherd. He did well in the car and everyone at the Vet's office fell in love with him. He can be adopted alone or with Mindy. Mork is well mannered and hopes you will be his forever home.If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Pinto was one of 7 pups that came to us with their Mom, Paisley. They were very fearful and unsocialized. Over time we rehabilitated 3 of his siblings and they were adopted. Pinto is now showing signs of progress and for the right home, is ready. A loving and patient home is what he needs to overcome his remaining fears but he is loving and wants to be your good boy! He's beautiful and the only one that looks like a Collie mix.If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

She may not be the loudest or boldest in the room, but her quiet affection and loving nature make her incredibly special. If you’re looking for a tender, sweet companion who will happily curl up in your arms and steal your heart, Elsa may be your perfect match. To meet Elsa, please fill out an application! Story
Meet Littlefoot! This little tripod is one of the sweetest pups you’ll ever meet. She was found as a stray along with her puppies in South Texas a few months ago. Since rescuing her, we have gotten her fully vetted which included amputating her front limb, as she was born with a deformity that was causing her some pain. She’s a little over a year old, good with dogs, but prefers a mellow companion. She’s extremely sweet with people and would like to be a cuddle partner for hours on end. She’s also potty trained and crate trained. She has not been cat tested so unfortunately, we do not know how she would do with kitties. Because Littlefoot was a "street dog" the first year of her life, new things can be scary at first. So we will require a patient leader that can teach her that the world is not a scary place. Our trainer will be happy to continue to work with her on confidence building once she enters into your home, as all of our pups come with 3 free at home sessions with one of our trainers. If this little bundle of energy and love, sounds like the perfect match for you, please visit the link and fill out an adoption application so that we can schedule a phone call to chat about her . Please note we do not ship dogs out of state. If you’re currently not in the Dallas Fort Worth area, you will have to come to Dallas to meet her.

Story
Howdy, y'all! My name is Cowboy, and I'm a handsome 3-year-old neutered male Red Heeler mix weighing 42lbs. I was surrendered to the Rockwall Adoption Center because my previous home had too many animals, but I'm ready to ride off into the sunset with a family of my very own! I'm a friendly, well-mannered boy who gets along great with other dogs and children. I'm both house and crate trained, and I love spending time with my people&#194&#151whether that's playing in the yard, going for walks, or relaxing after a long day. Right now, I'm staying in a loving foster home while I wait for my forever family to find me. If you think that could be you, I'd love to meet you soon! My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my annual core boosters, and heartworm negative. Apply today to adopt me: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. Once your application is approved, RAC staff will contact you to schedule a meet and greet with my foster family! Could you be the one to give this Cowboy his forever home on the range?  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. December 4, 2025, 11:46 am

Story
Meet Rome! Hi there! My name is Rome, and I'm an approximately 2-year-old male Blue Heeler mix with a big heart and a love for people. I was surrendered when my previous family was no longer able to care for me, but I'm ready to start my next chapter with a family who appreciates affection over fetch. I'm a social, happy boy who isn't really into toys&#194&#151I'd much rather soak up attention, enjoy good company, and relax in a comfy bed or pile of blankets. I keep my kennel clean and appear to be potty trained, which means I'm already off to a great start in a home environment. I haven't been tested with other dogs yet, so a meet-and-greet is essential if you have pets at home to make sure everyone is comfortable. My adoption fee is $125, and I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and DHPP booster, and heartworm negative. If you're looking for a friendly companion who runs on love and cozy naps, I might just be your guy. Apply to adopt me at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Rome is ready to trade shelter life for soft blankets and a family of his own.
