Story
Molly was found stray by a good samaritan who spent a month trying to locate an owner. They are now fostering her for Legacy in hopes of finding her a wonderful forever family. Molly is approx. 7 months old and 40 lbs. Molly is still young and active and would love to have another dog to play with and/or a family who is active and can give her lots of playtime. She is learning to play fetch and commands such as "lay down". She loves to be by her foster side and while she takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, she's as sweet as can be once she gets to know someone. She is working on potty training.  She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $275. If you're interested in meeting/adopting Molly, please apply here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
This beautiful Momma just gave birth to 8 puppies in a loving foster home.  GINNY was a fantastic caregiver.  It is now her turn to have ALL the attention.  This gal is crate and potty trained.  In fact, she really likes hanging out and sleeping in her crate.  Her foster reports that she has had zero potty accidents!!  She walks well on a leash.  Ginny is both energetic and snuggly. She can relax with the best of them or play fetch and entertain herself chewing on toys While in foster, Ginny has been socializing with other doggies!  She will be open to sharing her new family castle! To meet Ginny, please fill out an online application. $200 Adoption covers spay/neuter, immunizations, microchip, and 1 month of Heartworm Prevention.  All dogs should remain on Heartworm Preventative for their lifetime..   For all pet inquiries, please email our Adoption Director at adoptions@dognkittycity.org or text the shelter at (214) 350-7387. If you are interested in adopting this pet you will need to submit an adoption application at dognkittycity.org/adoption-application.html. We are located at 2719 Manor Way, Dallas, TX 75235. Story
Everyone's adoption numbers are down this year, and especially for larger dogs; so, Baytown Humane Society is trying to go the extra mile to make our bigger dogs more appealing! Abigail aka Abby has not only been fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped, she has also completed three weeks of professional training! This particular training group allows lifetime contact and follow-up on the dogs they train; so, the adopter will have access to their support and advice, if it is ever needed. We believe this perk to be value added to a great dog! =) We believe Abby to be predominantly a Smooth Coat Collie. She is approximately 18 months old and weighs about 60 pounds. She loves car rides and has proven to be a happy, intelligent dog that does well with people and other dogs. She is eager to please and learns quickly! Abby is absolutely ready to find her forever home. Some lucky family is going to love and cherish this beautiful dog for many years to come! She is a keeper!! If you are interested in adopting this spectacular dog, just complete the online pet adoption application you will find near her photos on our website: www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org
