Story
Bellah and Beau were at a rural shelter on the Eu list due to length of stay and being over crowded.  They are stunning dogs.  They are super sweet and very calm.  They do not jump on you but love affection.  They don't bark much unless there is something or a noise behind the fence.  They are not chewers, nor food aggressive and they are great with other dogs, people and children.  We think they are ok with cats too. They don't dig in the yard and they love to eat! Super beautiful too! ##2136563##

Story
Pepita is a loyal, playful dog who loves to be included in your day-to-day activities. Despite being suddenly left in a stranger's apartment, she made herself right at home! She likes to herd her human companion around the house and leap over her dog friends. She wants to play with the cats, but leaves them alone after they tell her no. She seems not much older than a year and loves chewing toys and zooming around the other dogs. Her ideal forever home is with someone who can give her lots of love and take her on adventures so she can feel the wind in her fur. Applications are at codys_adoption_application. ##2155221##

Story
Pepe was given to a stranger on the streets with the plea that they were unable to take care of them. They reached out to LHS for assistance finding him a home. He is great with dogs and kids of all shapes and sizes. He has not yet been cat tested. He is crate trained and doing great with his potty training too. He is just a puppy so he will need a home with the time and patience to teach him how to be the best doggie he can be!   Pepé is incredibly friendly, very smart, on his way to being potty trained and can be easily trained with someone who has the time. He’s a puppy that seems to love to run and play with other dogs and doesn’t have any aggressive tendencies.   He will be brought up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped on 8/2/2024.    If you are interested in adopting him, please complete an online application at: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/ and the foster will be in touch!   What is the animal's approximate date of birth?         04/29/2024 Animal's estimated weight         15 lbs (approx 50lbs when full grown)          We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Meet Noah! Noah is a 2-year-old, male, Collie/Heeler mix weighing 42 lbs. He was originally found on HWY 276 in Rockwall County on 11/11/2023 and brought to the shelter on 11/13/2023. Sadly, his owners never reclaimed him. So now, he is looking for his new fur ever home! Noah is a sweet and playful boy. He walks well on a leash, loves his soft blankets and toys. He does well with kids, but has a bouncy nature and needs to be in a home with older children. His not good with cats or smaller dogs. Noah is good with some dogs, but he likes to be the leader of the pack. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is suggested to ensure they get along prior to adoption. Noah has been a shelter resident for 295 days as of 09/03/24 and is a Diamond Dog. Noah's adoption fee is $75. He is neutered, current on his rabies vaccination, boosters to date, microchipped and heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting Noah, please submit an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adopt.../adoption-application/. Noah is looking forward to meeting you!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
