Story
Hi! My name is Rusty and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on December 2nd, 2023.I am considered a `large breed` dog.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit` and `shake`.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I am a puppy!! I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Puppies require patience because everything is brand new so I will need some TLC while I learn. I am not potty trained or crate training yet and teaching me those skills will help tremendously on a road to success! If you and your family are ready to fall in love my awesome self, please check me out!!My personality color is GREEN. I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!

Story
I'm Daun, a 2-year-old Collie mix with a heart full of love. I had a bit of a rough start, wandering the streets near Ulsan market where is located in South Korea until some kind souls rescued me. At first, I might seem a bit shy, but give me just a little time, and I'll be your shadow, following you everywhere. I love to shower my favorite humans with affection. While I'm polite and offer a friendly hello to other dogs, I'm more of a quiet, laid-back kind of girl. If the other dogs get a bit noisy, I'm quick to find a peaceful corner. I may tug on the leash during walks, but I'm a quick learner and respond well to gentle guidance. Barking is not really my thing; I prefer the serene post-walk relaxation. Pop me in a crate, and I'll stay calm and collected. I'm not possessive with food, so feel free to share a snack or two! I'm also quite the outdoor enthusiast, preferring to do my business in the great outdoors. So, if you're looking for a sweet, well-mannered companion to join your adventures, look no further. I can't wait to meet you and become your new best friend! https://youtu.be/UQVn0u9Y0d4?si=FdSTDYsCPMcPqCud https://youtu.be/mYVJd_MSxs8?si=T6J-Pj_QZap-SbpT https://youtu.be/2YcyT36cJVQ?si=vilt4sVBrgl7DljG https://youtu.be/_yoGgw_Y10k?si=wuQ_EuQkQtALr8K2 https://youtu.be/ZA1nCWzghRY?si=aXn_dJMuJAqeKbPU

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Iris! She is a 9 month to 1 year old 45 lb Collie mix.. She came to us as a local stray roaming the streets. She is very sweet and loving. She has a lot of energy and will need work on obedience training. She is attentive and a quick learner but needs consistency and structure. She will need an active adopter and would make a great adventure buddy. She is very energetic and does amazing with other dogs and could play all day if you let her. She would love to have another dog in the home. Iris is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and will be spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $550.

Story
My name is Sally.  I am a fun outgoing girl searching for a forever partner or family.  I am a Collie mix, almost 3 years old, just over 50 lbs.  I am vaccinated, house trained and spayed.  I love to hike, play fetch, take leisurely walks, go for car rides and cuddle up to watch a movie with you.  Due to past abuse, I do not like to be crated or enclosed in small spaces alone.  I am extremely athletic so a fenced yard is preferred.  I like kids, most dogs and am cat selective.  I have attended doggy day care in the past and did great but in my own home I really don't like to share my toys.  I think I need to be the only dog in the home unless your other dog is very chill. I love doggy daycare and dog parks, but I really don't like sharing my 'person' at home. My first two years had been pretty rough leaving me with a few emotional scars but I am optimistic that there is a big hearted person out there who wants me.  Is it you?  If you could consider sharing your life with me or even becoming my foster parent, please contact BlackDogLady22@gmail.com or text 360 516 3378.  THANK YOU!December 6, 2023, 1:35 pm

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Nova from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 10 month old  female Mini Collie - Papillon mix.  I weigh approximately 16 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,495 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
Bella was surrendered to me when she was one. She’s been an angel to me and I love her so much. Bella is now 6, she’s super sweet & loves attention. She can be active & a couch potato. She loves fetch, play wrestle with other dogs & explore. She’s good with cats and kids. Bella LOVES her crate, she can get anxious being left home alone so it’s always best to crate her. I would love for her to have a home with a big back yard for her to run around. A parent that will shower her with love and cuddles and will take her on long walks and hikes. A home where she will always have attention and affection. It hurts me to have to rehome her but I know she deserves more than what I’m giving her right now. I’m struggling to make rent every month which means I have to work 2 jobs and a side hustle so she’s locked up most of the day. These past couple years affording vaccines have been hard for me too. I’d love to keep in contact for check in photos and occasional visits.

Story
Very sweet dog, lots of love for her. When comfortable with someone and her environment she has high energy. She likes to jump a lot as a greeting so be ready for that. She loves to play and run. Not sure about her house training in other peoples’ house but she never goes potty in our house. Need at least 2x a week shedding to keep up with the hair. Would prefer a home with lots of play space or a yard and she enjoys our backyard a lot. Loves playing with the hose. May need to train her for guests coming to the house as she can be territorial but never aggressive.
