Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Pilot - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey y'all, my name is Pilot (I was found on the tarmac at the Houston airport!!). Welcome aboard ladies and gentlemen, this is your Pilot with information about our flight to getting me a home. We are expecting calm and clear skies, perfect for those action packed adventures, a long smooth runway for our takeoffs going for leisurely strolls and hiking trails and no turbulence is foreseen for the near further, so buckle your seatbelts, folks, we're in for a pawsome ride!! I'm around 2 years old and just a big ole mush, loving my people of all sizes. I'm all for going on daily adventures, anything from leisurely strolls to action packed adventures. I enjoy it ALL! And you'll get to enjoy cuddle time with ME when we're done for the day! Ooh Ooh, how fabulous is that?!!! I come in at somewhere around 60lbs of loveableness, 60lbs of snuggles, 60lbs of turn you to a pile of goo when I give you my puppy dog eyes, 60lbs of kisses and tail wags. Now tell me that's not just the best size ever!!! I do great with most other pups I've met but haven't been cat tested yet. I am also house trained. Good with kids, dogs and housetrained... that's a pretty great bonus for my new family. I'd love to be your 'Pilot' for any and all our adventures, making sure we arrive safely at our destinations. A great 'Pilot' is only as good as his 'co-pilot', so maybe we can fly high... together!!!

Story
Animal Profile: Casper is an estimated 3-year-old 48 lb neutered male collie lab mix -- he has a longer coat and a playful personality. He is friendly with other dogs and people but is active and working on jumping up so no little kids would be best, for now. He is getting the hang of leash training and does well in the crate. More info to come as we get to know him in foster care.  Foster Update: Who's looking for a great hiking, running , walking buddy who would love to snuggle with you afterwards? Casper has plenty of playful energy, he can be calm and lazy and he does having access to his crate. He is a very loving dog who likes both other people and other dogs. He really wants to bond and is eager to please -- he wants to be the besets boy for you. Casper would love a home with active folks who present him with confident leadership!  Casper is sweet and quiet in his crate, is potty trained and doesn't chew. We are working on him not walking in zig zags -- he is sensitive and attentive and does not pull. Casper does get somewhat excited and is learning not to jump, but young kids would likely get knocked over, so families without kids or with older kids are preferred. He ill be fine as an only dog, but would be happy in a home with fur siblings. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from our partner Must Luv Mutts in Texas and arriving via K9 Transport on 03/30/2024 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.April 13, 2024, 4:29 pm

Story
Three-year-old Elliot is in love with life - fun, upbeat, happy, outgoing and friendly. Elliot was rescued from South Korea and now looking for his second chance and forever home with Greyhound Pets in Woodinville. He is on the higher energy side and will need an active home and adopters who like to exercise him. Elliot is eager to please and very smart, but needs a leader to continue his training on manners (which we too are working with him on). He is elegant and agile, and so fun to watch him romp and play! Elliot gets along well with the other greyhounds, but we’ve not had him with other dogs. With slow-intros we think he will be fine with doggie friends. Elliot who is 7olbs, will need a home without cats. We are not recommending Elliot with young children as he can get quite exuberant when playing and might unintentionally hurt a child. Elliot would do best in a home with a fenced yard rather than an apartment/condo/townhome. Elliot is neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. Email Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com for an adoption application and to meet this amazing boy! You just have to meet delightful and darling Elliot!

Story
Hi, Tomasa is my name and if you want an all around easy dog to get along with - I'm your girl! I love to swim, run, and play. I can already imagine all the fun things we could do together. But I am also very content to lay be your feet and just chill. Don't worry - I'll periodically give you my paw to let you know I'm there and available for cuddling. I don't need constant attention, but I'll take as much as you want to give.I can be a bit shy when we first meet but I warm up quickly and then we are best friends.I am still a young girl who is very curious and learning new things all the time. I getting pretty good at walking on a leash without pulling - and with your help I'm sure I'll be perfect soon! And did I mention I love treats? I already know how to sit for a treat. Being food motivated makes me easy to train. I get along great with most dogs after we are introduced, but I can be a bit vocal with dogs that I don’t know. Once we are introduced, we're good friends. In fact, I go for walks on our La Paz Malecon every Wednesday just so I can meet new dogs and people and be a social girl. If you like an all-around great dog - who has energy to play when you are ready, will chill and lay at your feet while you work, and be ready for cuddles when it's time -- I'm definitely the girl for you.If you think we could have a happy life together, then just click on the "Apply to Adopt" button. I will be waiting for you! To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Story
Hi, just call me Buba,I am just a little guy who is learning to trust and build some confidence. I think I have come a long way since I was rescued but I still have work to do. I love people, even the little people who offer me gentle pets and cuddles. It makes my heart sing!I can be very playful with other dogs if I am introduced properly, otherwise, I am pretty shy. Cats are good too, I just ignore them.I am happy to play with toys but even a plastic water bottle can be fun, I am not too fussy. I am getting used to car rides, at first, I was very restless because it was scary but now I know what to expect so it is better. I like water, but I haven’t been to the beach yet, maybe that is something we can do together.I am just a young pup so I have plenty to learn about obedience, walking on a leash, and basic commands but if you have some patience I will learn quickly. All I want is to please you.If it sounds like we could be a family together then just fill out the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Buba To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Hi, my name is Zar,I had a bit of a rough start in life, but things got better for me when my foster mom rescued me. I like to play with other dogs but when I get tired, I can get a bit grouchy. Children frighten me, so I have some memories there that I need to work on. Same thing as playing with balls, it reminds me of when I had stones thrown at me. I spend most of my time in the yard, even going into the house is scary for me. I do my business outside in the same place all the time but if I was in the house I don’t think I would know how to tell you I needed to go out.I will need a lot of love and patience so I can build some confidence. We went to the beach the other day and it was a new experience that I would love to get used to. I know I can be a great dog for the right people. If you are looking for an adult dog that you can work with to teach him how to be the best dog, then I think we could be a family. Just fill in an application and we can meet on a Zoom call. Lots of Love to share.Zar To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.
