FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Give a warm welcome to Yoko! She is a 1-year-old, 53lb Collie mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA hoping to find her forever home here in WA! Yoko is an AWESOME and not to mention a GORGEOUS dog! She walks well on leash and likes to stay close to her person and takes treats gently. She listens well to commands and although she does have a good amount of energy, she is able to focus when you need her to. She does well with other dogs and would be a great additional dog to a home or fine as an only dog. She can be a little jumpy from time to time so with a little basic obedience training, she will be able to work through that. But she does love engaging with her people! This sweetheart is going to make an incredible dog for one lucky household. Yoko is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Their parents are the stunning Piper and Finn, who were owner surrendered due to the owners health issues and family situation. Piper came in and surprised us with her delivery of beautiful baby rough coated collies, which you rarely see in the Hill Country or South Texas. The adoption fee is $500. We rarely get collies in rescue and their adoption fee will pay vet bills for dogs not as adoptable. This sweet baby wandered up on someone's property. He was wearing a harness on that had the brand name boots and barkley, so that's where the finder got his name. Barkley was chipped, but unfortunately it was not registered. It shows that he was adopted in January2023, and that he is estimated about 5 years of age. He currently weighs around 55 lbs and we believe him to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He has energy and he loves to run and play, but can be a couch potato too. His favorite thing in the world is to play fetch with a ball! Barkley likes other dogs if they are female, but has not been a fan of males. We believe it's from a lack of social time with other dogs because he doesn't come off as just an aggressive pup, he just seems like he was kept in a yard and ignored a lot of the time prior to rescue and may not be familiar with most dogs. Barkley clearly knows his basic commands, such as sit, kennel, shake and settle. He is highly toy and food motivated and responds wonderfully to focused training. With continued training, we could even see him being an agility pup! Barkley is crate trained, housebroken and does well on leash. He is fully vetted, meaning he us neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and on monthly preventions for flea, tick and heartworm. Echo is a sweet approximately 15 months old pup who was rescued from a high kill Animal Shelter of Texas, where she spent a long time cooped up. She got lucky due to her sweet disposition. She was a shelter favorite. Echo is a very sweet and calm girl who loves her humans. She lives with both dogs and cats, and usually does not bother them as she is velcro and finds her humans to follow. She would do good as an only pet, getting all the attention and affection. She is laidback and obedient. She is also highly trainable as she is a quick learner. A home with a fully fenced yard would be mandatory for her, as well as a family who can dedicate time, patience and love. Echo is currently about 45 pounds. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Her adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness, leash, and Interstate Health Certificate for our out of state adopters. Sadie is currently in foster care at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.
