A 30ish pound, 6-year-old female Super Mutt, Sheba arrived to Smidget pregnant. Having done a great job raising her pups, she’s now ready to bring dances of joy and lots of cuddles to her forever home. She is delighted to run with you, play ball, or lounge on the couch. She is loyal, eager to please, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. Sheba’s energy levels are high and would be too much for a home with small children. In addition to normal barking, she will make a series of high-pitched noises when triggered by something such as a strange dog. Very smart and food-motivated, she responds well to training. Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. For a list of scheduled events go to: https://www.facebook.com/SmidgetRescue/events . Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Puppies are adopted with a refundable spay/neuter deposit (in addition to the adoption fee) and adopters are required to get their puppy to our vet for their pre-scheduled spay-neuter appointments. You must live within a three-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), so we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
