Story
Bella was my mother-in-law’s beloved dog, and after her passing in October, we have been caring for Bella. Unfortunately, due to our current situation — we already have three dogs and a toddler grandson — we are unable to take on another dog long-term. Bella is very active, playful, and full of life. She loves to run, play, and would thrive with someone who enjoys hiking, long walks, and outdoor adventures. At the same time, Bella has a soft side — she loves cuddles, hugs, and affection and is an incredibly sweet girl. We are hoping to find Bella a loving, committed home where she can get the exercise, attention, and companionship she deserves. 🐾 About Bella: Very active & playful Loves outdoor adventures Affectionate, sweet, and cuddly Enjoys companionship and bonding Would do best with someone who has time and space for an active dog Bella truly deserves a home where she can continue to thrive and be loved.

Story
I'm introducing Sweet Penny hoping to find her a forever home that has either active adult(s) and/or young children that will match this sweet girls' entertaining energy. Penny loves puzzles and human laps and lots of hugs and kisses. She can exercise for hours and has to hear "all done" to stop getting you to play with her. She fetches, tugs, and loves to play with her own shadow. She is shy at first and great with other dogs and cats once she feels safe. She loves being outdoors in her yard on sunny days and likes to hunker down in her dog house during rainy days. She must have tall fences. She's crate trained when needed and has/needs a bark collar for door knocks, strangers, and joggers who pass her yard but has learned to not bark (for the most part). She's truly very loving and gentle and respects others dogs' authority. She is very smart and can be taught many things and thrives on learning. My living environment is changing and to be fair to her, she needs a larger home.

Available in TX Meet Louise, the lovable Collie mix with a heart as vast as the Texas sky. Rescued from uncertainty, Louise's story is one of resilience and affection. Her gentle nature shines through in her unwavering love for people; she craves affection and thrives on human touch. But it's not just people she adores-her heart extends to every canine companion she meets, finding joy in playful romps and tail-wagging friendships. Louise's loyalty knows no bounds; she sticks close to her family, her unwavering devotion evident in her excellent recall skills. House and kennel trained, she's a model of canine etiquette. Yet, her past shadows linger, and she seeks solace in the company of other dogs, finding comfort and confidence in their presence. Her journey to healing is ongoing, as she learns to navigate the world she was once isolated from as a puppy. Long hours confined would dampen her spirits, but with the warmth of a loving family and the companionship of other furry friends, she blossoms. Currently fostering in the heart of Seguin, Texas, Louise awaits a forever home where her sweet soul can truly shine, reminding us all of the transformative power of love and second chances. Story
**Meet Zeus – the parvo-fighting cattle dog hero who’s ready to thunder into your heart!** This dapper cattle dog mix with the flashiest white socks you’ve ever seen is a true Okanogan County survivor – he beat parvo like a boss and came out stronger! Zeus is dog-friendly, sleeps like an angel in his crate overnight, and will top out at a perfect under-40-lb size of loyal love. He missed some early puppy parties, so he starts a bit timid (think shy superhero in disguise), but win him over and he’s smitten – full-on velcro cuddles and tail-wags for days! Zeus is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed – ready to bolt from foster to forever. If you’re ready to be the human who claims this sock-wearing survivor’s undying devotion, Zeus is waiting to zap away your lonely nights. One belly rub and he’ll be your thunder buddy for life! 🐾⚡

Story
Harlee is a 5-year-old Red Heeler/Shar Pei mix. She is house-trained, well-mannered, and loves to play fetch especially with a Frisbee. She is calm indoors, playful outside, and would do best in a quieter home with older kids or adults. While she gets along with other dogs, she tends to try and herd them, so she would likely do better as an only pet. Harlee has ongoing allergy issues that cause her to itch, especially in the spring and summer. Her skin also produces oils that can lead to odor. These issues aren’t fully managed but can be helped with regular baths and occasional Benadryl. Anyone considering her should be prepared to stay on top of her basic skin care needs. We are rehoming her because we have a one-year-old and one on the way. We both work full-time we simply don’t have the time or attention she needs. My son and I also have dog allergies that have progressed despite using air purifiers and limiting her access to different rooms.
