WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🧭🐾 Meet Journey — A Sweet Soul Ready to Find Her Way Home 🐾🧭 Journey is a 1-year-old, ~40-pound sweetheart who has spent her puppyhood waiting for something every dog deserves — a family of her own. Born into an unwanted litter, Journey and her siblings grew up without the comforts of home life: no cozy couches, no bedtime routines, and no humans calling her name just because they love her. Yet through it all, Journey’s heart remained gentle, hopeful, and full of love. Journey is friendly, affectionate, and playful, with a soft, loving nature that makes her impossible not to adore. She does great with other dogs and kids, and has a beautiful balance of curiosity and calm. She’s the kind of girl who will happily explore the world with you and then settle in close, just to be sure she’s exactly where she belongs. Her mom is a heeler/border collie mix around 40 lbs, and dad remains a mystery — a charming wanderer who passed along good looks and great genes. Whatever the mix, Journey inherited intelligence, athleticism, and a loyal heart that’s ready to bond deeply with her people. Journey would thrive with an active, loving family who enjoys walks, playtime, and adventures, but also values togetherness and connection. She’s eager to learn, ready to blossom, and so deserving of the life she’s been patiently waiting for. 🐕 Journey’s Details: ✅ 1 year old, ~40 lbs ✅ Sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented ✅ Great with dogs and kids ✅ Playful, gentle, and loyal ✅ Smart and eager to learn ✅ Waiting for her forever family Journey doesn’t need much — just a chance, a safe place to land, and someone willing to love her wholeheartedly. She’s ready to stop waiting and start living the beautiful life she deserves. ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and help Journey finally find her way home. 🐾

Story
I'm introducing Sweet Penny hoping to find her a forever home that has either active adult(s) and/or young children that will match this sweet girls' entertaining energy. Penny loves puzzles and human laps and lots of hugs and kisses. She can exercise for hours and has to hear "all done" to stop getting you to play with her. She fetches, tugs, and loves to play with her own shadow. She is shy at first and great with other dogs and cats once she feels safe. She loves being outdoors in her yard on sunny days and likes to hunker down in her dog house during rainy days. She must have tall fences. She's crate trained when needed and has/needs a bark collar for door knocks, strangers, and joggers who pass her yard but has learned to not bark (for the most part). She's truly very loving and gentle and respects others dogs' authority. She is very smart and can be taught many things and thrives on learning. My living environment is changing and to be fair to her, she needs a larger home.

These pups are in Renton, Washington too!

Courtesy Post. To apply for this dog please visit Northwest Rescue Collective, www.northwestrescuecollective.com Freddie Mercury is an adult cattle dog mix available for adoption through foster mom Kim Reno in the Yakima Valley, and his foster mom is happy to drive him to meet you if you’re not local. This pup would do best in a home without young children. While sweet and affectionate with adults, he can feel overwhelmed by fast movements and loud energy. In a calm, respectful environment his true loving personality really shines. Freddie Mercury is friendly, curious, and deeply affectionate — the kind of dog who brings warmth and joy into every interaction. He has a playful, happy spirit and a love for fetch that’s impossible to miss. Open a door, and Freddie heads straight for the ball, ready for his next game. His energy is enthusiastic but not overwhelming, making him a great balance of fun and companionship. • Good with dogs • Good with cats • Leash trained • Crate trained • Potty trained He’s an intelligent dog who enjoys having a purpose and will do best in a home that appreciates his joyful personality and is excited to keep building on his skills. One of Freddie’s most striking features is his incredible jungle-cat–like markings. Along the entire left side of his body — including both front and back legs — you’ll see bold, distinctive markings that continue across his belly and side. Look closely and you’ll even spot what appears to be a little “cat face” hidden in his coat, making him as visually unique as he is lovable. Freddie Mercury is ready to bring loyalty, laughter, and companionship to the right home — and he’s more than willing to travel to find it.

He is a petite, approximately 8-year-old heeler who is ready for a fresh start after being left behind when his family moved. Despite everything he’s been through, Boy remains incredibly loving and gentle — the kind of dog who steals your heart fast. Boy’s sweet personality: • Raised with kids and very gentle with them • Loves giving soft kisses and soaking up affection • Big fan of toys and belly rubs • Kind eyes and an irresistibly cute face • Neutered and vaccinated • Mostly ignores other dogs (may play once comfortable) • Does great with goats and sheep • Fine around horses with supervision • Not recommended for homes with cats Important care notes for Boy’s transition: • Should be considered a flight risk while adjusting to a new home • Will need a secure fenced yard and close supervision • Must be leashed and GPS-collared when outside (GPS can be provided) • Has only ever known one farm as his home and is still searching for the family he lost Boy is a loyal, tender-hearted pup who just needs patience, safety, and love to truly settle in.
