Story
Hello, my name is CANITO and I am a young male dog. I am a very friendly, playful, and smart dog who loves to explore, but I am also gentle, affectionate, and loyal. I love giving kisses and being around kids and other dogs, and I've been known to be very gentle when I play. I haven't had much experience with cats, but I'm sure I would get along with them just as well as I do with everyone else. I'm a well-rounded pup who loves to learn new tricks and play with toys. If you're looking for a furry friend to join your family, look no further! I am CANITO, and I'm ready to love you unconditionally. Please consider adopting me, CANITO. ##2050415##

Story
Meet Jet! Jet is 35lb three year old lab/boarder collie mix.  Jet is a very affectionate dog who is eager to please. He loves to be where his humans are and will sleep at your feet when you work from hom. He would love to sleep in your bed if you let him! Jet is great with kids and is very gentle.  He loves meeting new people. He does have a habit of jumping during first meetings and licking people. He also paws at you for attention because he just wants love. He doesn't love car rides but if you let him cuddle up on the seat beside you he does much better.  He would do well in a home with another dog and might also do well as a solo dog but his foster family prior to us and our home has always had two dogs at once. Jet typically gets along well with other dogs but he can be selective in some cases. He has lived with another dog very successfully, and has been to the dog park many times without issue. However, there has been a scuffle between him and another neighborhood dog. We would like to see Jet in an active home, with a fully fenced yard.  Jet is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $395 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Lincoln! Sweet Lincoln was transferred to us from an overcrowded animal shelter in CA. He arrived there as a stray when he was just 5 months old and spent the next 8 months in a cage. He is the sweetest guy so we just had to pull him out of this situation and show him that there is life beyond those 4 walls. Lincoln is a gorgeous boy - we are unsure of his mix but guessing perhaps a collie mixed with some pit bull or other type of bully breed. He is now in a foster home and doing well. He arrived quite shut down and clearly growing up in a shelter did not prepare him for life all that well. The good news is that he LOVES other dogs and they help him learn and blossom. He loves his doberman foster brother and follows his lead. Having another dog in his forever home will be key to help him thrive.  With humans, Lincoln is slower to warm up. He needs time and patience to trust. He does not have a mean bone in his body but he is shy and reserved with new people. He walks well on a leash now and will follow a handler who helps him feel confident. He is such a gentle and sweet-natured boy.  He is learning to enjoy cuddles and pets - he is still timid about that at times. Sadly the lack of socialization in the shelter means that he never learned that human hands can be gentle and give good scratches. He is catching on though! Lincoln is indifferent to cats and will do fine in a home with cats. A home with a yard will be great for him, and of course a dog friend. We think he will be a bit overwhelmed with children, as their unpredictable movements may scare him. Kids over 12 will be fine. We would love to see Lincoln in a home with a patient person(s) who is willing to meet him where he is at and who can see the gem that he is. Watching him grow and learn and be amazed at his freedom in his foster home has been wonderful and we know he will continue to blossom. Lincoln is vaccinated, chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Give a warm welcome to Yoko! She is a 1-year-old, 53lb Collie mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA hoping to find her forever home here in WA! Yoko is an AWESOME and not to mention a GORGEOUS dog! She walks well on leash and likes to stay close to her person and takes treats gently. She listens well to commands and although she does have a good amount of energy, she is able to focus when you need her to. She does well with other dogs and would be a great additional dog to a home or fine as an only dog. She can be a little jumpy from time to time so with a little basic obedience training, she will be able to work through that. But she does love engaging with her people! This sweetheart is going to make an incredible dog for one lucky household. Yoko is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Novac! 6-month-old male Collie mix Novac is a sweet and resilient pup with a heart as big as his beautiful Collie eyes. At just six months old, he’s already been through more than most dogs face in a lifetime. After being struck by an oil truck near a petrol station and left behind, Novac waited several days before he was finally rescued and rushed to the hospital. There, surgeons placed a plate in his leg to save it—and thanks to their care and his incredible spirit, he's now walking confidently on all fours! Despite his rough start, Novac is full of love and trust. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats. He’s currently working on his leash and potty training and making great progress every day. Novac is currently in Kuwait, waiting for a trial family to give him a chance. He’s looking for a committed home willing to start with a 10-day trial. His adoption fee is $500, which helps cover his medical care and transport. www.northwestwagrescue.org If you're looking for a brave, loving companion who’s already proven how strong and special he is, Novac might just be your perfect match. ##2384347##
