Story
Hi… I’m Lulu. Not long ago, I was just another name on a list — a list that meant my story might end before it ever really began. I hadn’t felt what a home was like yet, and I hadn’t learned what it meant to truly belong to someone. But I was given a second chance, and now I’m standing at the door of a brand-new life… maybe with you. I’m a bright, happy girl with lots of energy and an even bigger curiosity about the world. I love to move, to learn, and to play — every day feels exciting to me. I make dog friends quickly and genuinely enjoy playing with them, and I tend to warm up to people pretty fast too. If you meet me, I’ll probably come say hello with a wagging tail and sparkling eyes. Since I’m a Border Collie mix, I’m a smart cookie. I pay close attention to your voice, your expressions, and your energy, always trying to understand what you’re asking of me. I’m still just 10 months old though — basically a big puppy! Sometimes my energy bubbles over and I might get a little silly, but I’m learning house rules and how to become the best companion I can be. And I promise you — I’m ready to learn. I’ve never truly had a home of my own. I don’t yet know what it feels like to curl up in “my” spot, to go on daily walks with “my” person, or to fall asleep each night knowing I am completely safe and loved. But if you choose me, I’ll learn all of that with you. I’ll learn that this is my home, that I am loved, and that I finally belong. If you’re a family who enjoys an active life and wants to spend time training, playing, and growing together… if you’re patient and excited to watch a young dog blossom into her best self… I will be your most loyal friend. I was once a dog waiting for my life to end. Now, I’m a dog waiting for my forever family. Could that be you? 🐾

Story
Aero is a medium-sized Border Collie available for adoption through NW Working Breed Dog Rescue. Aero is a young male Border Collie/German Shepherd mix, born June 2025, with stunning markings that perfectly complement his sweet, gentle personality. This smart boy is already showing what an incredible companion he’s going to be. He looks to his humans for guidance, loves to learn, and thrives on connection and praise. Aero is currently fostered with 2 other large dogs. He’s friendly with new people and was even a staff favorite at the vet (we caught them spoiling him in the treatment room!) — always a great sign of his loving, easygoing nature. Aero’s highlights: • Housebroken • Rides great in the car • Good with other dogs • Friendly with strangers • Smart, attentive, and eager to please • Medium-sized and growing into a wonderful young companion Aero would do beautifully in a home that enjoys spending time together — whether that’s walks, playtime, training, or cozy evenings relaxing. With his intelligence, sweetness, and loving heart, he’s ready to become someone’s loyal best friend. If you’re looking for a young, well-rounded pup with both brains and heart, Aero is your perfect match! All dogs listed for adoption are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered - or will be when old enough. All of this is included in the adoption fee.

Story
Sadie is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Sadie is 2 1/2 to 3 years old (February 19) and is possibly a Border Collie/Lab mix. -Come into the local shelter in Summer 2023 as a small puppy. Transferred to our rescue on June 7th -Just went through heartworm treatment and tested negative as of December 9th! -Used to be shy and timid....now she is well socialized and loves to get all of your attention and she's not afraid to ask for it! -Energetic breed who would love a nice yard to run in and a family to love on. -35-40 pounds. -Gets along with other dogs. Would do best in a home with another dog to play with. Does like to be the "alpha" with some females (never aggressive). Gets along great with males -She can walk on a leash, but it does need some work. -If home has kids, must be 10+ -Video of Sadie from February 1st: https://youtube.com/shorts/vbus4vrwJBk Sadie is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), dewormed, microchipped, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She had a negative heartworm test on December 9th. Health certificate and exam and fecal test will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $700 total, this is including all vetting above and transport cost.
