Story
They are quite the dynamic duo. Lolo is big sister and protector - of both her human family and her brother Casey. And Casey is the goofball who wants nothing more than to play and give kisses. They are brother and sister and we want them adopted together. They love to spend their time romping in the yard and taking leisurely walks around the ranch. These beautiful and loyal companions would make great additions to an active family. They are fully vaccinated, neutered and spayed, and microchipped for life. They can be transported anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1939561##

Story
Phoenix is the silliest boy! This 18 mo old, 50lb boy loves to spend his days running around with his friends and twirling and dancing for treats when it’s time to come inside. He is very friendly and enjoys meeting new people so a socially active home would be ideal. He also is wonderful with dogs of all sizes so he’d love to have a playmate in the home, but it’s not required. He is an active boy so if he does not have another dog to run and wrestle with, his people will need to make sure he has plenty of activity every day. And then he’s ready to settle down and cuddle. Although Phoenix does need more training, he is a very smart boy and learns quickly. He is extremely food motivated so lots of training games will be fun. One of his front feet was injured when he was a young puppy so no concrete running for this boy. But lots of walking and hiking would be great! He is fully crate trained and with just a little more help to understand the routine, he’ll be fully house trained in no time. He must have a 5ft or higher securely fenced yard. He has not been tested with cats so no kitties please. Kids must be over 10yrs old

Story
It breaks my heart to have to give my family dog up but we have no choice. I am the third owner of this dog and a-lot of bad training took place. She is set in her ways and I do not have the time to constantly watch her. I feel its in her best interest to be rehome to someone that is highly active and/or has land so she can run. I cannot provide her that. She is super sweet to people. However the older she is the crankier she is with kids and smaller dogs. She is NOT aggressive by any means but she does have her quirks or moments when she gets insecure and that is towards small children and small dogs. She is fine around my child and no problems biting in her immediate family. You would never know she has bitten anyone in the past which were small dogs and kids that would test her boundries. She deserves better quality of life for the time she has left. She is a high-energy dog even at her age and loves to run free. If anyone has the ability to give her that we would be grateful.

Story
Rufus was found on the street by animal control and sent to the humane society. He was found to be totally blind. He was offered for adoption and we took him in January of 2013. He is very smart and adaptable, but prone to anxiety. On our vet’s recommendation we put him on Trazadone and Prozac. We have used the services of an online expert in blind dog training and made progress but he does get overexcited and tends to nip. This can be intimidating. Due to a tragic accident we are not sure we can still provide him the unconditional love he deserves. We would like to find him somewhere that he can get the exercise and activity and care he needs.

Story
Miss Sammy is in a shelter in central California and desperately seeking a foster before she can transport and be saved. Sammy is just 4 months old and weighs 8 lbs. currently but of course has some growing to do. We expect her to be about 20-30lbs when full grown. Sammy is a Border Collie mix and totally as sweet and deserving as any puppy could be! She injured herself in the shelter kennel and possibly got her foot caught in the kennel door. In an attempt to remove her foot, she lacerated, dislocated, and fractured the middle toe on her right front paw. We are trying to finder her a foster in the Seattle so we can have that foot assessed and get her the vetting she needs. This is a note from a shelter staff member: "When I approached the hospital kennel, she was non-weight bearing on the front foot and seemed to offer it to me with the saddest eyes, begging for help". If you could consider fostering Sammy during her vetting and healing please email fkrokower@msn.com and include your phone number. Supplies will be provided. Please help us help baby Sammy!

Story
Let's find a home for miss Rowlett! This adorable 9 month old lady is still on the search for her forever family. Rowlett is spayed, up to date on her shots, house trained, and comfortable in a kennel. She does well on a leash, although she can be easily spooked, but she hasn't shown any leash reactivity. This little lady is fantastic with kids and women, but she does exhibit fear around men-truly a little feminist... Rowlett has nipped at 2 different men, highlighting her need for patience and understanding in overcoming this fear. In her ideal home, if there were a man, he would play a vital role in helping Rowlett feel secure and trusting. If you're ready to open your home, consider adopting Rowlett! #AdoptRowlett #ForeverHome #FeministPup

Story
Chloe is a very active dog, who loves nothing more than to chase whatever is thrown fo her. She is a very loyal, affectionate dog who adores people. That being said , she would do best with an experienced owner. Chloe needs a single pet household as she is protective of her people, although she has never bitten anyone, she does have some anxiety issues. Chloe was born April 11, 2017, which makes her 7 yo, which puts her, compared to other breeds, at not even middle age as ACD's have one of the longest lifespans. She's very intelligent and knows many tricks, being very smart, she does need to be made to mind, otherwise she may participate in dog crimes. She is a very well loved girl, so she will be screened for the best possible home.
