Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!  Updated: 11/28/2023 Dog Name: Willow Sex: Female Estimated Breed Mix: Smooth Collie/ Mix Approximate Age: 2 years Approximate Weight: 40 lbs. Description: Sweet Willow was abandoned in the woods of a small Texas town, she was skin and bones and had very obviously been owned before. She greeted her finders with a wagging tail and lots of kisses! Willow is very intelligent and listens very well. She is great with other dogs, big & small. She is also great with kids! She is a petite medium size, the kind of dog you can take for adventures or just lounge at home! Willow deserves a warm and loving home! Adoption Fee: $400.00 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. April 24, 2024, 11:40 pm

Hello Biggie Paws Friends! 👋Spring is coming and we have the perfect flower for you 🌸 …A Moonflower! Moonflower, (sometimes called Moonie by her foster family) is looking for her forever home - she is staying in McHenry, IL right now. Moonie is about 4 months old, 15 pounds and looks like a Shepherd Mix. There’s a lot of work that goes into the life of a puppy! Learning to walk on a leash, always going potty outside, looking after those humans… Moonflower is doing a great job with all her puppy skills! She still has some accidents, but has been doing great going to the bathroom outside - her foster family is also starting to teach her some tricks and commands, like ‘sit’! Sometimes new situations can be a little scary - I’m sure you’ve been there before! Moonflower feels this way sometimes too and just likes to have a little time to get to know people. Once she is comfortable, you’ll really get to see her affectionate side and she’ll curl right up in your lap. We recommend a forever home for Moonflower that does not have small children - she likes to have time to warm up to people, and sometimes little ones aren’t quite old enough to understand that. Moonflower loves her human friends, but may like her animal friends even more! When she gets a chance, she loves playing with other dogs and cats. 🐾Moonflower can’t wait to find her forever home! If you think she would be a good fit for your family and you would like to be considered to adopt her, please apply using the link below! Moonflower is available for adoption for a fee of $500. She is microchipped, up-to-date on all her age-appropriate shots and spayed.http://www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Story
Everyone meet Willow. Willow has the most beautiful chocolate coat. She is currently 4 and a half years old and weighs appx 45lbs. Willow is spayed and completely house trained. Willow is out of all the puppy stages and is just a joy to have around. She gets along with all dogs big and small. Willow pulls a bit on leash but loves walks and is a great car riding companion. This girl can’t get enough belly rubs and is usually found walking around with a toy in her mouth. Willow can be a bit timid on meeting new people but it doesn’t take much to get her to warm up. She could use someone who’s going to be patient with her when meeting new people. Once adopted Willow will travel via Rescue Vet pet transport to a location closest to you. (transport cost is $160.00) If you would like to make this adorable girl part of your family please follow the link below to our application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
Precious! The only way to describe this little fellow. You can imagine as a very young puppy there's jot a lot of history to share. We can tell you that he was born in our care, along with his siblings, and that his mom is a stunning black lab. We have named her Raven and she's very sweet. They have been separated from mom and are ready to find their new forever families. They are currently being fostered by Michele in Memphis, Tn. She has a has full of activity, comings and goings so the puppies are super well socialized and used to just about anything. Once an application has been submitted and approved, she would be happy to speak with you about him. Once adopted, he will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to his new forever family. They travel each weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday mornings around 6 AM and traveling as far north as west Greenwich, Rhode Island, making steps along the way delivering newly adopted pets. Transport is an additional $185. Once they get on the road, they start a group chat with the two drivers and everyone who has A Pet on board. If you would like to make this adorable ball of cuteness part of your family. Please follow the link below to our adoption application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9
