Story
Hey everyone, I'm Caleb. My foster mom says Caleb means faithful, which she said describes me exactly. I will be your forever, FAITHFUL friend always by your side thru life. I'm young at only 6 months old and my breed is called a Red Heeler or aka as Australian Cattle Dog. I would be good at having a job to do as long as I get paid with cookies. What's my story you ask? Well the place I came from, they call a puppy mill in Wisconsin. I lived in a cold, dark, dirty barn. But then some nice people came and rescued me and I got to go live with a nice foster family.  They take really good care of me. My foster mom says my spirit was a little broken when I first came but she is helping me fix it. I now get a nice soft, warm bed and blanket to snuggle in, fresh water, good food, lots of yummy treats and they tell me I'm a good boy all of the time. I love being loved on...that's the best part of this new life. I love playing and chasing with the other foster puppies. The resident dogs are fun too...well mostly Cooper because he loves to play chase with me. Sometimes I win and some he wins.My foster mom says I'm a very handsome, smart boy and learn quick. I love playing with toys now that I know what they are. I also like to fetch but sometimes I forget to bring them back. My foster mom says i'm quite silly. I go potty outside like a good boy. At night or when my foster family goes away, I stay in a big xpen in the kitchen and i'm very good in there.I'm a little timid when meeting new people and going new places but i'm gaining more confidence everyday. I love going on walks to explore and smell all the new smells. My foster mom said that I'd be a great hiking companion. I'm very agile and get the zoomies in the fenced backyard. I weigh 30 pounds and shouldn't  get a whole lot bigger. So i'm not too small and not too big...i'm just the right size.I've been to the vet and have all of my vaccinations, dewormings, heartworm preventative. I'm microchipped and neutered. I come with a certified vet inspection which basically says I'm healthy and ready for my new family to come get me. I get to bring along my bed, blanket, favorite toys, treats, a bag of food, an extra month of flea&tick prevention and an extra month of heartworm prevention. Plus, and the most importantly, You will get a faithful, forever friend to walk by your side. I will listen to all you troubles and never judge. All of this for my adoption fee of $500.Will you be my bestest new friend? Please fill out an application at www.nbstr.orgBy the way, I'm currently in Allenton, WIThanks for reading, Caleb
