This mellow, house-trained senior girl loves staying close to her people and would thrive in a quiet home that can support her slower pace and mobility needs. Kirby is a 11-year-old Rough Collie whose sweetness and easygoing nature shine through in everything she does. She’s fully house trained, rarely vocal, and content with a simple routine that includes short, regular walks and plenty of couch time. Kirby prefers to stay near her adults, soaking up gentle affection and companionship rather than high-energy play. She’s learning to loosen up and play a bit from her foster siblings, but her favorite role is quiet, loyal shadow. Due to significant muscle loss in her rear legs, Kirby has difficulty with stairs and getting up, so she needs a home that can accommodate her mobility challenges. She’s doing better with supportive care and supplements, but still benefits from a safe, stable environment where she can move at her own pace. A fenced yard is always desirable but she doesn’t require it as long as she gets age-appropriate exercise. This handsome boy is fully housebroken, comfortable in a crate, and settles well when left alone. He has learned not to destroy his toys, is improving with waiting at doors, and comes when called. At around 30 pounds, she’s the perfect size for adventures, couch cuddles, and supervising the household full-time. Katie was found tied to a tree in a busy area, but despite her rough start, she’s remained incredibly loving and gentle. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but once she knows she’s safe, she turns into a total affection addict who wants nonstop pets and attention. She loves chew toys, gets along great with other dogs and cats, and has fully embraced her self-appointed role of “cat herding specialist.” Katie is also doing wonderfully with crate training and is already showing how smart and eager to learn she is. Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 5 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention and can be ok with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving.
