Carmelita is an all around, sweet 🍭 girl with a lot of energy who LOVES ❤️ to play ! She enjoys running and chasing her doggy friends around the yard. 🐕 She is good around little humans and LOVES walking on a leash …so a home where she can share her toys, play and go on regular walks with other fur or human family members would be a Great opportunity for her. 🥰Carmelita is potty trained, 🚽💩 she knows “sit”, “stay” and “paw”. When it’s time to settle in, 🥱 she has done time in a crate …but it’s not her favorite. I'm a super sweet puppy who looks like a Collie mix with Basset legs and feet. I'm short, stubby, and incredibly cute! I'm a typical happy and loving pup who runs up to everyone for attention and petting. I am very treat motivated and ready to learn whatever you'd like to teach me. I will need help with potty training focused on positive reinforcement (treats and praise) and being kept on a consistent schedule. I love stuffed toys and running around with my doggy friends, and I'd love to share my home with another pup. I'm looking for an adopter who has plenty of time to raise and train an active puppy. I'm approved for respectful children and will be an amazing addition to an attentive and loving family! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. Tiger Lily (she answers to Lily) is very timid at first but this would be expected from a former street dog. It will take a day or so for her to warm up to you, but then she's yours for life. If you want a dog that hugs you, then Lily is whom you want. Research indicates she is a Moscow Watchdog mix, and the watchdog part holds true with her. She is not a big barker but is always on alert.She is crate trained and leash trained and loves long walks, Lily would be best in a home with a fenced yard as she loves to explore and run. She does have some fear reactivity that is caused by anxiety but that can surely be worked on through trust and training.  Tiger Lily has not been tested around children but has been introduced to cats. She loves her foster fur sister, but it took some time. In the beginning she had the idea she was the alpha dog, but on the advice of trainers, we made it clear our own dog came first. Now she is happy in her new position as little sister. Her good points are she doesn't jump up on you, doesn't continually lick your face, and does not counter surf. Her favorite toy is a ball, and she can play alone with one for a long time. She loves to sit outside for hours on end, just looking at everything.When she lived on the streets of Azerbaijan, she was injured and found in a pool of blood by a rescue team.
