Collie Cattle Dog

Female, 2 yrs 9 mos
Salem, WI
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Spayed or Neutered,
Hi Biggie Paws 🐾 Friends ! We’d like to introduce you to Carmelita. She looks like a Red Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog. She is approximately 2-1/2 years old and weighs about 35 pounds. Carmelita is an all around, sweet 🍭 girl with a lot of energy who LOVES ❤️ to play ! She enjoys running and chasing her doggy friends around the yard. 🐕 She is good around little humans and LOVES walking on a leash …so a home where she can share her toys, play and go on regular walks with other fur or human family members would be a Great opportunity for her. 🥰Carmelita is potty trained, 🚽💩 she knows “sit”, “stay” and “paw”. When it’s time to settle in, 🥱 she has done time in a crate …but it’s not her favorite. She LOVES ❤️ her humans and would much rather cuddle and snuggle up next to them. 🛌😴If you’d like to be Carmelita’s Fur-Ever Family, 🥹❤️ please apply to adopt her using the link below. Her adoption fee is $400. She is microchipped, spayed and has had all of her age appropriate shots. 💉https://Biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

Tiger Lily

Collie German Shepherd Dog

Female, 3 yrs 4 mos , Special Needs
Mundelein, IL
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Tiger Lily (she answers to Lily) is very timid at first but this would be expected from a former street dog. It will take a day or so for her to warm up to you, but then she's yours for life. If you want a dog that hugs you, then Lily is whom you want. Research indicates she is a Moscow Watchdog mix, and the watchdog part holds true with her. She is not a big barker but is always on alert. She is crate trained and leash trained and loves long walks, Lily would be best in a home with a fenced yard as she loves to explore and run. She does have some fear reactivity that is caused by anxiety but that can surely be worked on through trust and training.  Tiger Lily has not been tested around children but has been introduced to cats. She loves her foster fur sister, but it took some time. In the beginning she had the idea she was the alpha dog, but on the advice of trainers, we made it clear our own dog came first. Now she is happy in her new position as little sister. Her good points are she doesn't jump up on you, doesn't continually lick your face, and does not counter surf. Her favorite toy is a ball, and she can play alone with one for a long time. She loves to sit outside for hours on end, just looking at everything. When she lived on the streets of Azerbaijan, she was injured and found in a pool of blood by a rescue team. They fixed her foot and helped her heal so that she could fly to America in search of her furever family!  Fill out an adoption application to schedule your own private meet and greet with this furry friend. Photo of Carrie

Collie Mixed Breed (Medium)

Female, 5 mos
Barrington Hills, IL
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Hard to believe Carrie is a puppy! She’s calm, gentle, friendly, and VERY smart! Carrie aims to please her people, and learns and follows commands pretty quickly. She loves people, is wonderful with other dogs, as well as with older children. (We are not sure about cats.) Carrie is believed to be a Collie Mix. Her estimated date of birth is January 8, 2023. At 4 months, she weighs 24 lbs. It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of her adult weight, but our best guess is about 50-60 lbs. An ideal family for Carrie is one able and willing to make the commitment of time, attention, and energy into working with and training Carrie to be her best self! A fenced yard is ideal as is another younger or middle-aged pup in the family Carrie is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Her spay is included in her adoption fee. For information about adding this adorable girl to your family please contact or 847-852-0895.
