Story
EVERY PRINCESS DESERVES A FAIRY TALE ENDING. Are you ready to welcome Princess, a 1 yr old diabetic dog, into your heart and home? Individuals with medical, veterinary or T1D experience are encouraged to apply. But if you don't have experience, that's okay too! We will teach you! 😊 Princess is a young dog with an old soul and she'll make a wonderful, goofy, loyal companion.🩷 We are looking for a special family to adopt Princess. Our goal is to make this a smooth transition and we are here to support you with training and $200 in donated diabetic supplies. Princess is an (almost) one-year-old, spayed 35 pound mixed breed. We don't know her breeds but we think she looks like a kelpie or rat terrier mix. Princess was abandoned by her owner when she became critically ill. She then traveled between multiple facilities and states before settling into her long-term Wisconsin foster home. Her foster family is very familiar with type 1 diabetes and is ready to share their knowledge with you. They are committed to being a long-term resource for any local adopter, including advising on care and boarding for vacations. Princess is a gem; she is a happy thriving girl who enjoys neighborhood walks, playing with her dog friends and chewing on stuffies. She is house and crate trained. Gentle on leash. Quiet. Loves car rides. She is best matched in a routine-oriented home, with adults or teen children. She is great with calm dogs and lives with cats. Princess receives daily Insulin shots, eats a set diet and requires monitoring of her blood glucose levels. Her new owners will need to invest in her ongoing care. We are accepting applications to adopt Princess and we hope you'll consider making a difference in this special girl's life. She is worth the investment and she'll pay you back by following you around the house, falling asleep with her head on your shoulder and snoring in your ear. She also never misses a chance to show you her pearly white teeth. With proper blood sugar management and diet, she should live a normal and happy life! Please consider applying or spreading the word! We know her people are out there! OUT OF STATE ADOPTERS WILL HAPPILY BE CONSIDERED FOR A WELL-MATCHED FAMILY WILLING TO TRAVEL. Story
Bones is 30lb, 1 year old Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog/ Blue Heeler) who recently arrived in Wisconsin & is looking for her forever home.At 30lb, she may be a bit dainty to herd your cattle (well, maybe not!) but she more than likely is (no guarantees) purebred & comes with a Bentley Mark! Bones even gives you the full range of Heeler vocals, & she does answer to her name! She loves to play with other dogs & when it comes to hugs & affection from people, she’s your girl! We don’t know if she’s been introduced to kids & cats, but we’ll be glad to help you find out! Why not fill out an application & schedule a meet & greet with Bones today!🐾 Spayed and UTD with vaccinations🦮 Walks GREAT on a leash🐾 Doesn’t have accidents in her kennelIf you’re interested apply at Rescuegang.org.
