My name is Carmen! I am a retired tax advisor out of Missouri. Unfortunately my career was cut short because I didn't know there was such a thing as "fraud" but, well, long story short, fraud is bad and here I am. I am ready to enjoy the rest of my life as a sweet spoiled corgi not having to worry about filing taxes ever again. I came to my foster family early this spring and I love life with a caring family (since I am barred from TurboTax, I don't have to do their taxes, yay!). I really love walks and go as fast as my little legs will take me. I'm an older gal but still love getting my fitness in and keeping my corgi rear-end in shape. I am fine in my crate during the work day or at night, but am rarely in there because I am such a well behaved girl. I really adore sleeping in bed with my humans. I can be cautious when I am meeting new people but I warm up quickly. I go potty on a schedule and like to explore the back yard. I am a very rare barking corgi, the doorbell startles me a bit and I need to let the whole house know about it, I mean, what if it’s the Feds... again? I would love a furry friend to play with but am leery of the big dogs. Most of our adoptable dogs were previously stray dogs with little history, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s breed mix, and unless there is a specific date of birth listed, we can’t be 100% sure of a dog’s age. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ. ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES: Wellness check Spay/neuter (puppies adopted with required spay/neuter certificate) Age appropriate vaccines - rabies as required by law and distemper combo or proof of positive titer test Heartworm test if over 7 months of age Fecal test and/or deworming for parasites Microchip ~ Healing Hearts rescue will also provide dental procedures, bloodwork, surgeries, and/or any other additional vet work as needed while dogs are in our care. ~ Adoption fees are non-negotiable and fees are listed on the dog's profile ~ Adoption fees can be paid the following ways with the required sales tax added: PayPal Credit Card Cash WANT TO HELP SAVE MORE DOGS?
