Story
Please contact Jaclyn (jacnbob@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet. AJ is part of a litter of 6. They were found in an abandoned house after the renters had been evicted. We were told by the landlord and neighbor that their mother was a corgi. They were born in January 2022.  AJ has the long corgi body and the short chunky legs but the coloring of a Doberman. She has a bouncy personality and loves to play. She's very smart and learns very quickly. She  does well with other dogs but does want to play and chase cats and chickens. If you would like more information on AJ or our adoption process please enclose your phone number with your inquiry.June 6, 2023, 12:19 pm

Story
Earl is a 6-month-old, 15-pound male shepherd mix from Texas! Earl is the sweetest little love! He is very friendly towards cats and other dogs and loves to make friends in the neighborhood. He’s a little guy so he is much more comfortable being approached crouched down to his level. Earl is a little hesitant when meeting new people but warms up very quickly. He has met a few children and has done well with them. Earl and his foster family are working on crate training and his forever home should continute this in order reinforce healthy boundaries. He can be a bit protective over his foster mama and Can get grumpy around bedtime if he’s feeling overwhelmed. He will growl on ocassion to let you know he needs a little space, but has never been aggressive towards people or bitten anyone. Earl is doing well with potty training and is great with using a pee pad if he can’t hold it until he goes outside. He’s walked every 2-3 hours and has had only a couple of accidents. He’s a good walker but easily distracted by other dogs and loves to sneak in some street snacks when no one’s looking. He is moderately active and as much as he enjoys the park and his walks, he’s a couch potato at heart. Earl has so much love to give and will bring his forever family so much joy. Vaccinated for rabies, DA2PP, and bordetella. Neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention due 6/19. Please apply using the following instructions if you are interested in adopting one of our Waggytails: Visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available. Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable dog, or final size of any of our adoptable puppies. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the dog into our rescue. Adoptions: adopt@waggytailrescue.org ##1721573##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Kitty gets along well with dogs. She lived with her foster mom and other dogs. One dog was sorting out and she was a bit aggressive, but Kitty wasn't aggressive at all. Kitty likes people. But it takes a while for her to get used to it. She's basically a quiet and cautious dog, as she's not a dog with high energy levels. Treat children like adults Her relationship with cat is similar to her current relationship with the dogs around her. She's basically a dog that understands sit, wait, no. She likes to walk a lot, but she's a bit stubborn, so she tends to just sit and stay if there's a spot she wants. There is a slight imbalance in the muscles on one side of the leg. I was diagnosed at the hospital, but the doctor said it was not enough to treat it yet. Her doctor said she may have had a nutritional imbalance when she was puppy.

Story
Meet Marry🧡 She lived on the side of the yard of an old woman's house. There was no proper house to protect her from the rain and wind, and she was tied to a short leash so could not escape the sun 😭 She had to protect herself and lacked various experiences, so her social skills is not good with dog and cats. But she loves people and wants to be loved💕 Training is needed continuously because she bites when her excitement goes up. So We don't recommend her to a house with kids and first dog owner. *She is frozen when she takes a bath. She hates the sound of a hair dryer and holds it in at first, but tries to bite when it gets longer. *She is good in brushing *She shed a lot * Energy Level(1~10) : lv.8 *She is not a picky eater. She shows possessiveness about her food. But nowadays she got a lot better after her training *No allergies *When she see another dog during walking, she tends to rush them and barks. If there is no stimulating element then she is very good in walking. *She doesn't have carsick *Potty well indoor and outdoor both. But She prefers outdoor. *Barking at outside noises. *Shes food aggressive. Going near her food or water bowl when shes eating can cause her to be defensive. Touching her food bag away from meal times can also cause a reaction. We suggest feeding her in her crate and putting the food bag in an isolated spot. She seems to not like it when someone hovers their hand above her. Whether if the intent is to pet her or even if its not directed at her. This has caused the most bite attempts. I would suggest slow hand movements when you're walking with her and to crouch down before petting her. She doesn't like being touched unexpectedly. If she's playing with a chew toy or sniffing something and you touch her it might also cause a reaction. Generally I always make sure shes looks at me before i pet her. We are looking for an experienced dog owner only for Marry. Marry truly is a great dog. Due to her past trauma from Korea she has reactivity. She completed her training from Korea. With the right adopter she will thrive.
