Story
Meet Cashew, a sweet pup that has captured the hearts of everyone he/she meets. Cashew is eagerly awaiting his journey to a forever home, but until then, he's in need of a temporary foster family to shower him with love and care. His wagging tail and happy nature make him the perfect companion for cozy nights in and playful adventures outdoors. With Cashew by your side, every day is filled with joy and unconditional love. Reason for Foster: Transport Foster Time Frame: 4/14 or 4/15Foster Care Plan: Cashew will need to return a few days before his transport date for his/her health certificate to be completed. We will provide all the supplies you need to take great care of this sweet boy! Cashew is a foster animal awaiting transport. He will need fostering temporarily until the scheduled transport date, at which time he will travel out of state to location where one of our rescue partners has found him a new loving home. Animals in the transport foster program will not be available for adoption since they have already been tagged by a rescue partner. If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact foster@operationkindness.org.

Story
Palmer is ~13 weeks old, born 2/5/24. She's a sweet girl, with lots of playful puppy energy. We got her about 1mo ago during a local meetup event in downtown McKinney from a woman from Oklahoma who had Palmer + a few litter mates for sale. She is a miniature Australian shepard / Corgi mix, otherwise known as a "Mini Auggi". She's very sweet, and has loads of energy during the day due to the nature of both of her breed mixes. We have had her enrolled through 6w of basic training courses at the local Petco, and through that, she now has a 'trick list' of the following commands (with some needing more work than others at reinforcement): Sit, Down, Come, Sit from Down, Look, Down in Standing, Look with Distractions, Stand, Basic Stay, Leave it. We love her, and want the best for her. We initially thought the adjustment to three dogs would be much easier, but it's proven harder than we imagined, and just want her to have the best possible life! Will provide crate/other items.

Story
A Sweet Little Valentine 💝 Daisy is a 20 pound bundle of love. She's a very sweet corgi/chi mix. She's around 8 yrs young. Her owner has suffered a brain injury and can no longer care for her. Daisy is mellow most of the time & sometimes playful & silly. She enjoys going for walks. She's great with children & other dogs, though she needs to be fed separately as she can be food possessive. (Girl loves her food.. don't we all!) She doesn't mind cats, but if other dogs are around, she "joins in" if they go after a cat. So she would be best with EITHER cats or dogs, not both. She would also enjoy being an only pet.👸 Daisy would make such a wonderful loving companion. She's fully vetted & ready to find a forever home. Please reach out for more information about Daisy! Story
Want a best friend who adores you, will always be by your side, and who thinks you hung the moon and the stars???? Meet Marigold!! She is absolutely the sweetest girl and loves her people more than anything in the world! Because of this, Marigold would do best in a home where her family is home more than not. Marigold needs slow introductions when meeting other furry friends but would do well with another calm dog. Marigold was found in a rural area along with 4 of her puppies back during an ice storm. Since she has been in her foster home, she has really bloomed! She is a smart girl and learned the doggie door quickly from her furry foster siblings. She is around 3 years old, 32 lbs., house-trained, and walks well on a leash. She rarely ever barks, sits on command and just longs to be by your side! Please note that we do not recommend Marigold to families with children under 5. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
