Story
The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Jasper is four months old as of the end of June and currently weighs 7 pounds. The owner kept Jasper, his siblings, and his mom outside in a carrier in very low temperatures. Animal Control threatened to confiscate all of them if not removed within 48 hours. Poochmatch agreed to take the entire litter. Jasper is a happy-go-lucky, healthy, loving, playful, sociable puppy. He has a bright disposition and would make a lovely companion. Please do NOT call to ask if this puppy is available for adoption. If this listing is still posted then we are still accepting applications. Please read the narrative in its entirety. Please note our adoption procedures are explained in GREAT DETAIL BELOW. READ, READ, READ. Thank You. . . . . The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. This is a great article from 3LostDogs that explains the trials and tribulations of puppyhood: http://3lostdogs.com/things-wish-everyone-knew-before-they-get-dog-2/

Tron is a 7 year old male (neutered) pitbull/dachshund mix black/white. Tron is good with kids, dogs and cats. Tron is a friendly and playful dog he enjoys a good back scratch and sitting in the pool and occasionally taking a swim on the hot days. He is active when he wants to play if not he is ok with just lounging around. He enjoys going for walks and exploring new sceneries. He will go for hikes, but tends to get tired after a few miles due to his shorter legs. He enjoys hard to chew toys since the softer ones he will take apart easily. Tron is also kennel trained and is very alert when someone walks to the front door.Tron is looking for an amazing forever home! We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day.
