Story
Lucy (golden) and Jezebel (doxie) are a bonded pair who need temporary foster care (until approximately June 2025) as their owner is currently in physcial rehabilitation after a stroke. They are not up for adoption, but do need a foster home. Copilot Animal Rescue will provide food and medical care for the dogs. A foster home will need to have all other pets fixed and a fenced yard. These are sweet girls who are dog friendly but will need the safety of a temporary foster home. Fosters must be in the North Texas/Southern Oklahoma area so the owner and rescue can visit.  ##2314387##

Story
Travis is a 1.5 year old, 13 lb Dachshund mix. He has such handsome markings and soulful eyes. He and nine other small dogs were dumped in East Texas, and Humane Tomorrow took them all into our adoption program. Foster mom says that he is very calm, loves cuddles, and enjoys snuggling under a blanket. He is even starting to show his playful side. Travis will be timid at first, so he needs adopters who will be patient with him and give him time and space to build trust, a calm environment where he feels safe and secure. With love and consistency, he will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you would like to give Travis a forever home that really does last forever, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you. Travis has heartworms because he was not kept on heartworm prevention. Humane Tomorrow will pay for his treatment with our partner vet, and the treatments are very successful.

Story
Abigail is one of the pups from our Swifties group. She is a 1.5 year old, 10 lb Dachshund Chihuahua mix. She and nine other small dogs were dumped on a country road in East Texas, and Humane Tomorrow took them all into our adoption program. Foster mom says that Abigail has a big heart and even bigger cuddle habit. Abigail was scared of the world when she first arrived, but with a little love and patience from her foster family, she has blossomed into a sweet, spunky, little companion. Mealtime is her favorite part of the day, and she does the cutest little happy dance in circles while her food is being prepared. Abigail is great on leash and enjoys walks around the neighborhood. She has learned how much fun toys are! She loves to sit in a little dog bed by foster mom's desk while she is working. Abigail needs a calm loving home where she can continue to feel safe and adored. In return, she will be a loyal cuddle buddy. Abigail has heartworms because she wasn't kept on heartworm prevention, but Humane Tomorrow will pay for her treatment with our partner vet, and the treatments are very successful. If you would like to give Abigail a forever home that really does last forever, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Meet MUNCHKIN and DEUCE, the charming duo! DEUCE is a lovable, goofy dog who doesn't quite realize just how big he is. This silly canine is on a mission to find his furever home, and he hopes to do it alongside his best friend, MUNCHKIN. Together, they make an unstoppable duo, thriving on car rides and late-night adventures. DEUCE is a quick learner, and he loves to show off his skills - high fives are his specialty! His sidekick, MUNCHKIN, is a climbing superstar, who is able to scale fences (her pawfect human won't let her turn into an escape artist). While MUNCHKIN sometimes struggles with separation anxiety, DEUCE is always happy to offer her comfort and companionship. Must-know fact about DEUCE? He has a strict no-chicken policy, so his ideal home won't have those little temptations around! If you're looking for a pair of lovable companions who will fill your home with tail wags and unforgettable memories, DEUCE and MUNCHKIN are ready to check into your home! Story
When Rocket joined the rescue he was in rough shape. He had a horrible skin infection, double ear infections, had to have a dental with many extractions and had 4 masses removed, which were tested and thankfully came back benign. He is now heathy and ready to find his forever home! This gentle 12 year old, 19 lb Dachshund mix is calm and happiest when he’s close to his people. Rocket gets along great with both dogs and cats and enjoys his daily walks at a nice, easy pace. He is very food motivated (treats are definitely the way to his heart!) and is doing really well with his potty training. He only barks when he’s feeling a little lonely, so he would love a home where someone is around most of the time or works from home. At night, he likes to curl up in bed with his person—who could say no to that little face? If Rocket sounds like the perfect companion for you, please submit an adoption application at www.rescuerowinc.org.*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2521646##
