Story
Turbo is a sweet boy he came to us after being abandoned by his owners. He does have partial nerve damage from being hit by a car. Both back lags were injured and nothing can be done for him. He doesn’t have control over his bladder so would do better w hardwood floors. I will send him w his belly band but I don’t use it often as I don’t want him to get a rash. Although he is good w kids he needs gentle kids that won’t hurt him. He is great w other dogs. I have done laser treatment on him and it would be awesome if I can find a new owner that may take him and keep up w it. Other than that he is a very happy pup. He has had all his shots hw negative and microchip and neutered and has had a bravecto adoption fee is $60 let me know if Interested

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Welcome Ruby to Allie's Haven Animal Rescue.   Ruby is an adorable 1 year old Dachshaund mix that was originally adopted from the shelter then she escaped her adopters home and when they were contacted they said they had just adopted her and didn't want her so they surrendered her to our rescue.  She is a smaller lady that weighs about 30lbs.  Ruby is fully vetted and settled in her foster home.  She is potty trained, crate trained, knows her basic commands, and loves going for walks.  Ruby is good with other dogs her size. This adorable little girl is fun-loving and enjoys her playtime but runs out of steam and really loves a good nap.  She is sweet and will follow you around the house waiting for you to sit down and snuggle with her.  If you are looking for a smaller to medium sized dog then Ruby may be the one for you.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 26, 2024, 12:25 am

Story
Buster is the sweetest little guy!! He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He weighs approximately 24 pounds and 10 years old. Buster is great with other dogs, loves to nap and enjoys lounging in a human lap. He is house broken for the most part, though will tend to "mark" if another male dog goes potty in the house. Buster would be perfect for a retired couple, or someone who is home most of the time, as he really does love companionship, or even another dog in the home whom he can snuggle with! If interested in adopting Buster, please fill out our adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

💃🐶 ADOPT DIVA 🐶💃 This pretty, sassy, golden girl is a senior dachshund mix and had a pretty tough time before finding herself at the shelter after an emergency vet visit. 🥺 Diva is doing well with her foster family. She's very sweet and getting along well with their other pups. Diva likes to tell you all about it when you've missed dinner time (or, at least the time she thinks she should have dinner). She likes to be close to you, especially in the kitchen. 😆 She's not a fan of change and needs a little time to adjust but is the sweetest girl once she's settled and comfortable. She is a really fun pup! ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.tinyurl.com/IADRAdoptionApp ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Get ready, because we’re about to mix things up with an adorable pug imposter! Three-year-old Nellie is a happy, affectionate, and playful dachshund with a beautiful coat of wavy fur. Dachshunds were originally bred for hunting, and Nellie makes her ancestors proud by chasing rabbits and squirrels in her foster family’s backyard. When she’s not on patrolling the yard for furry friends, Nellie’s favorite activities include playing with other dogs, chasing after toys, going for occasional walks, wolfing down her meals, and using her long snout to try and sneak food from people or other dogs. She also enjoys sleeping in bed next to her humans at night, trying to hijack the family pillows before eventually curling up at the foot of the bed. We think that Nellie would thrive in a home with cuddly and attentive humans who have a backyard that she can scan for woodland creatures; because she has a prey drive, a home with cats would likely not be suitable for her. If you’re open to a friendly, social gal with a longer snout, we’d love to introduce you to Nellie! Apply for her at dfwpugs.com.
