Travis is a 1.5 year old, 13 lb Dachshund mix. He has such handsome markings and soulful eyes. He and nine other small dogs were dumped in East Texas, and Humane Tomorrow took them all into our adoption program. Foster mom says that he is very calm, loves cuddles, and enjoys snuggling under a blanket. He is even starting to show his playful side. Travis will be timid at first, so he needs adopters who will be patient with him and give him time and space to build trust, a calm environment where he feels safe and secure. With love and consistency, he will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. If you would like to give Travis a forever home that really does last forever, please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you. Travis has heartworms because he was not kept on heartworm prevention. Humane Tomorrow will pay for his treatment with our partner vet, and the treatments are very successful.

My dog, Winnie, is a great dog but he doesnt seem to get along with my toddler and it breaks my heart but I need to rehome him to a loving family will give him the attention he needs. He has seemed depressed because we moved to a small apartment and doesn't get the attention he used to. He has all his shots but needs a recent rabies shot.
