Story
Meet Simba! This sweet and snuggly Dachshund mix puppy was born in November 2024 and is ready to find a family to call his own. Simba came to us from a hoarding situation, but you would never guess it from his loving and trusting nature. He has blossomed in his foster home and is eager to keep discovering all the wonderful things life has to offer. Simba absolutely thrives on attention and will happily soak up all the snuggles and cuddles you have to give. His playful side shines just as brightly—he loves to explore and is always on the lookout for new adventures (especially if they involve small squeaky toys, his absolute favorite!). And we can’t forget about his adorable little nub tail that wags with pure joy whenever he’s excited, which is pretty much all the time. He’s still a young pup and is working on mastering his potty training, so he’ll need a patient, encouraging family who can continue helping him learn and grow. With love, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement, Simba will thrive. Simba is neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s currently living in a foster home in Fort Collins, CO, where he’s showing every day what a loving, playful companion he is. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate puppy who will shower you with love and brighten your days, Simba just might be the perfect match for you! Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, and microchip with registration. Story
Chicken Little may be small, but don’t let her size—or her name—fool you. This smooth-haired senior dachshund has the heart of a champion and the spirit of a survivor. With a few bumps here and there, she wears her years like a badge of honor, proof of a life well-lived. And according to the vet, she's still got plenty of gas left in the tank! What Chicken Little is looking for now is a cozy spot to land—a home where she can enjoy the finer things in life. She’s a seasoned pro at sniffing out the best sunbeam for an afternoon nap, and she’s got a sixth sense for knowing exactly when you need a little extra love. Whether she's trotting beside you with her signature waddle or curling up in your lap for a quiet evening, she's a steadfast companion with a heart as warm as the softest blanket. This old gal isn't slowing down—she's just looking for someone who appreciates the wisdom of a well-lived life. If you’re searching for a loyal friend who knows what really matters (treats), Chicken Little might just be your perfect match. Are you ready to give her the happy ending she deserves?
