Say hello to Truffles! Truffles is a beautiful low rider / Corgi mix, about 1.5–2 years old and 22 pounds of pure sugar. She’s happy, playful, and full of life! She enjoys playing with her dog friends here at the rescue and would thrive in an active home where she can go on walks, hikes, or runs.

Truffles would blend well in just about any family setting with dogs or children. Truffles is from a hoarding case but she doesn't show any signs of abuse or neglect and is a resilient little girl. She’d make a fantastic companion for a family ready to give her the activity and affection she craves. Truffles is Heartworm and Chagas negative. Story
Meet Benji! Benji is a 2-year-old, 19 lb scruffy little heart-melter from the Rio Grande Valley. He is both heartworm negative and Chagas negative, and he came to Tracy’s Paws after being rescued from a cruelty case in Weslaco, Texas. Despite his rough start, Benji has the sweetest spirit. He adores people... and other dogs - especially the ladies...and loves nothing more than gentle head scratches and being doted on. He can be a bit selective with his male dog friends, but with humans he is all love, affection, and gratitude. Benji is a wonderful little dog who deserves a safe, loving home of his own. If you think he might be your perfect match, we’d love for you to apply. Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip

Email:  ddrtxinfo@gmail.com                 Primary Website:  www.DDRTX.org Hi my name is Jackson Bailey and I am looking for my forever home.  I am only 2 years old and only weigh 11 pounds.  I used to be shy and I am still a little, but my foster mom has taught me that living life to the fullest is a whole lot more fun. My foster family has taught me how to make friends with my foster siblings.  I learned how to play with and how to be a pet. Foster mom has taught me that sleeping all night in my own little bed in my own little kennel is very calming. That’s my private space and is especially nice. I don’t cry or whine, I go right to sleep. I even eat in my kennel and have learned to wait politely and I take snacks gently. I really need a home of my very own and maybe it would be really nice if I had a friend to play with. I really enjoy the special attention the humans f=give me and all they have taught me.   Can you be my forever family?  I do know how to give hand kisses and foster mom says I’m the most gentle, quiet, polite little man she’s ever had.   Jackson is approximately two years old and full of life. He weighs about 11 pounds. He loves being outside and he loves all of his brothers and sisters.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
Addie is a sweet dog with a good amount of energy for her age. I took her in when my grandfather passed away. I did not want her to end up in a shelter. I recently had a baby and have not been able to give her the attention that she really needs. I want her to find a nice home with someone who will love her and care for her. Addie has been an outside dog most of her life and may need a bit of house-retraining. From my experience, she is good around children and has had no issues with them. She tends to be very protective of her food around other animals, (people are fine) so she's best fed in her own space. I believe Addie is about 13 years old. She is very loving and playful, but does enjoy just relaxing as well. She loves attention but also does well on her own. She is good around cats, easy to bathe, and is crate trained. She seems to sleep better when she is in her crate at night, but I'm sure she can learn to sleep well elsewhere. I'll miss her but want to give her a better life.
