Bodie is around 7 years old. He’s over protective. He understands simple commands sit, speak, kennel. Snapping a finger . He’s kennel trained but that has lead him to be protective over his food when other pets or strangers are around. He is active and likes to play outside but he prefers to be outside with others. He’s grown up with cats. He doesn’t like wearing collars. He is more anxious than aggressive not liking people wearing hoods and usually putting himself in between arguments that has lead him to lurch and snap at whoever is being the most aggressive. He prefers sleeping in beds and under the blanket. He’s needy in always wanting to be next to whoever he bonds with having to be in the same room or if sitting in a chair at your feet. He doesn’t do well with thunderstorms.

MiGoshe Kola (me-go-shay) is Apache for My Dog Friend but he is now called Koda. He was adopted years ago but due to no fault of his own, he came back to our rescue. He is now 10 years old. A Black and Tan piebald with slightly longer slender legs. Koda seems to prefer female dogs but might be okay with the right male dog. He is protective of his food, treats and toys. He seems like he could be good with kids. Koda is adapting to his new foster home. He loves to snuggle and won't let you out of his sight for long. He picks up his front leg when he is waiting for meals and then jumps and dances about until he gets his bowl. He has learned to use the ramp to get on the bed at night and then immediately dives under the covers. He is sweetie and listens like a champ. Addie is about 12 years old and she is super sweet. I took her in from my grandparents when they could no longer care for her. Now I am in the same situation. I want her to go to a home where someone can care for her better than what I am able to. She is an outside dog at the moment and she seems to be good with children and other dogs, from what I have seen. She has a lot of energy for an older dog but she also enjoys lazing around as well. She needs to be fed separately from other dogs and she seems to sleep best at night in her kennel. My hope for her is that she finds a loving home with people who will be happy to have her.
