Meet Moses, affectionately known as Lil' Mo—a sweet senior Dachshund with a heart as big as his soulful brown eyes. This distinguished little gentleman has mastered the art of taking life one cozy nap and one cuddle at a time. Don't let his age fool you—Lil' Mo still has plenty of love to give. He's happiest when he's snuggled up beside his favorite people or quietly keeping canine companions company. His calm, gentle nature makes him the perfect sidekick for anyone looking for a loyal best friend who asks for nothing more than kindness, comfort, and a place to call home. Story
Howdy y’all! I’m Raz––a handsome, sensitive soul looking for a fresh start after my previous owner sadly passed away. I’m a loyal and independent guy searching for a quiet, low-key environment. Recently, I’ve been loving my training boot camp at Lone Star State K9, learning how to be a polite pup and stay in my crate. I may be a cowboy, but that doesn’t mean my manners can’t be top-tier! Despite still being a puppy, I’ve been told I’m kind of an old soul… so I’d prefer hanging out in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy kids who respect boundaries; I love to be around my people, but I also just like my personal space sometimes! When it comes to other pets, I’ve got kind of a lone wolf attitude, and personally, I’d love to be your loyal one-and-only. My feelings have been hurt by other dogs before, but I’ve been doing a great job at camp learning how to dust off my boots and handle it. That doesn’t all mean this cowboy can’t get rodeo-rowdy. I love a good “bug tussle” with my person. If you’re looking for a total roly-poly, I’m your guy! I’m ready to retire from the range and be your loyal canine companion. Apply to adopt me today!

This sweet pup is part of a large rescue intake after a local animal lover sought help managing over 30 dogs. While completely new to leashes and the great outdoors, these well-loved pups have one major thing going for them: they absolutely L-O-V-E people and are eager to bond with everyone they meet! Fat Butt is a handsome black and white guy who brings a bit more confidence to the table, combining a sweet and easy-going personality with a ready-to-please attitude. Our team of staff members and fosters are busy helping them all learn the ropes of outdoor adventures, but what this pup needs most is a home to call their own. Fully vetted and overflowing with affection, Fat Butt is ready to step into a bright future with you. Open your heart and home by submitting an adoption application today!

While completely new to the great outdoors, these well-loved pups have one major thing going for them: they absolutely L-O-V-E people and are eager to bond with everyone they meet! Rufus, a silly little guy, is one of the adorable puppies from the pack. He is outgoing and outwardly loving with staff. Rufus has had limited experience with a leash and is working hard to develop his leash skills! While starting with limited leash exposure might seem challenging, rescue dogs are remarkably resilient! With a little patience and love, Rufus will adapt quickly to leash walks and routine, making the bond you build together even more rewarding. Story
This scarlet lady is ready for her close-up! SNIPSA says, "I love Lucy—and once you meet this girl, you will too!" This small pup has a flair for capturing hearts, though she prefers a slightly more understated red-carpet debut. At first, Lucille is a quiet, gentle observer. She takes her time sizing up a room, but don't let that initial shyness fool you! The moment the camera came out for her photo shoot, she completely blossomed! Sniffing out the best angles and proving she was born for the spotlight. She is a total natural and would make an absolute superstar muse for anyone with a passion for "dogstagram." Since moving into foster care, Lucille has broken out of her shell, showing off her sweet, loving personality day by day. She is a connoisseur of fine entertainment; her top interests include tracking down the squeakiest of squeaky toys. Overall, Lucille is a precious proposal wrapped in fur, waiting to find her permanent home. If you are looking for a charming, photogenic little companion who goes from quiet wallflower to joyful muse, Lucille is ready to steal the show! Are you ready to schedule an audition to meet Lucille in person? Fill out the adoption application today!

Story
I found SkyLili on line, a young man was gonna go back to school and decided that he could not keep her. I thought she was going to be much bigger, but since he took her picture closer up, I couldn't tell that she was small, he just said she was 6 weeks old. I was so scared to get her, she was going to be for my grandson, and he is very small. But my daughter walked into my room with the tiniest of dogs I had ever seen! She was adorable, and definitely would not be bitting my grandson. So I had no reason not to keep her. When I finally took her to the vet, she didn't even weigh 5 lbs. I can't remember how much she weighed , I am getting the info from the vet, I remember thinking, wow, then she must have only weighed about a pound when I got her! She's extremely playful and I always figure that she still thinks she is a puppy! I had her fixed and microchiped and have always gotten her shots, and keep her on simparica trio. She's very funny! Loves to play take away!

Story
This is Tommy, a sweet 4-year-old neutered boy who is looking for a loving home. He’s a total couch potato who loves relaxing and being close to his people. Tommy really loves food and always gets excited for mealtime and treats. He has a calm, affectionate personality and enjoys spending time playing as well—he especially loves playing with his brother Kafe. Tommy would do best in a home without cats. We’re hoping to find a family who will give him lots of love, attention, and a cozy spot to be a potato
