Howdy y’all! I’m Raz––a handsome, sensitive soul looking for a fresh start after my previous owner sadly passed away. I’m a loyal and independent guy searching for a quiet, low-key environment. Recently, I’ve been loving my training boot camp at Lone Star State K9, learning how to be a polite pup and stay in my crate. I may be a cowboy, but that doesn’t mean my manners can’t be top-tier! Despite still being a puppy, I’ve been told I’m kind of an old soul… so I’d prefer hanging out in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy kids who respect boundaries; I love to be around my people, but I also just like my personal space sometimes! MiGoshe Kola (me-go-shay) is Apache for My Dog Friend but he is now called Koda. He was adopted years ago but due to no fault of his own, he came back to our rescue.  He is now 10 years old.  A Black and Tan piebald with slightly longer slender legs.  Koda seems to prefer female dogs but might be okay with the right male dog.  He is protective of his food, treats and toys.   He seems like he could be good with kids. Koda is adapting to his new foster home.   He loves to snuggle and won't let you out of his sight for long. He picks up his front leg when he is waiting for meals and then jumps and dances about until he gets his bowl. He has learned to use the ramp to get on the bed at night and then immediately dives under the covers. Bailey Boo is a 6-year-old sweetheart with a big personality and a whole lot of love to give! At 18.5–19 lbs, she's a little on the fluffy side (okay, maybe a lot!), so she's officially starting her weight-loss journey to get down to her goal weight. Bailey knows what she likes and isn't afraid to show it! She does well in large crowds and will try to steal some attention from you or your guests! She's an absolute sweetheart and cuddle bug with the people she knows and loves. With that being said, she is a little more reserved and may take a little longer to warm up with men. She's great with dogs of all sizes and enjoys having other pups around. She need at least one dog friend that will keep her company when you are busy or gone from home. She's also comfortable sleeping in a kennel with other dogs or alone and seems to do well with potty training so far!  We're still figuring out how she feels about cats, but she may be a little intimidated by them. Bailey is looking for a loving home that understands she may need a little time to warm up.
