Story
Hey, hey! Stop scrolling! Now, we don’t mean to bug you, but we think these puppies are sure to make your heart flutter! Brought to SNIPSA through Animal Care Services’ community outreach program, these eight little buggers are set to make a smooth transition to rescue life. Meet Flik, Slim, Hopper, Francis, Rosie, Gypsy, Flora and Atta. Though we have no way of knowing the certainty of their breed, their stubby legs and wire hair point to the chance of Wire-haired Dachshund Mixes. At their young age, they are sure to adjust well in their future homes so long as they receive the proper time, training and patience that all puppies require. So, if one of these little love-bugs look like your next family member, there’s no time to waste! Hop on that application today!

Story
Check out these street dawgs! McCullough, Hildebrand, San Pedro, Broadway, Basse, Culebra and Fresno are all grown up and ready to get adopted. You may not know this, but their story goes waaay back! These babies were rescued in February after being found abandoned outside the Marbach Road Animal Hospital. They were just days old at the time, and still nursing on their mama, Marbach. Fast forward through two months of foster care, and they are ready to navigate their way into forever homes! These tail-waggers have developed charming little personalities in their shared journey so far. They enjoy bouncing up on our legs, stretching out in the sun, sharing their plushie toys and gobbling down kibble. Given their mother’s tiny size, they will also likely stay on the smaller side too once fully grown. So, if you’re searching for a little dog with a big heart, one of these rescue cuties will serve you well. Place an application to meet them today!

Story
Tank is a purebred Dachshund puppy almost 1 yrs old in May 2024. He was purchased from a pet store is AKC registered. He is chocolate brown with a white belly and brown spots on paws. Tank is loving, social and energetic. He loves to cuddle and gives kisses the perfect companion, is great with kids. He is house trained and knows how to stay and sit. Enjoys daily walks. He is kennel trained. Tank is not aggressive but is a very social dog when he sees other people or other dogs. He gets along with all dogs and people may need some training on walking, unfortunately we are relocating and moving states and cannot take Tank with us. Preferred for tank to have a yard for daily exercise but is fine in an apartment which we currently live in. Tank needs a loving new home. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Email:  ddrtxinfo@gmail.com                 Primary Website:  www.DDRTX.org Bonded with Holly Bea - Bonded pairDouble Dapple Chip may be blind and mostly deaf, but with his absolutely precious “seeing eye” sister, Holly (also a double dapple) there to help him, he’s close to perfect!  these two are friendly, gentle, loving, kissy, and soak up the attention.  One would have a hard time realizing he’s vision impaired as he easily discovered his “space” and can go in and out the dog door just perfectly fine.  If you have a smaller yard, and a dog door, he’ll easily learn how to maneuver and Holly will help him (and you!) immensely. they are as loving as they are gorgeous!  Please consider offering these two a place in your home for the rest of their days so that they can live life with comfort, security, and lots of snuggles.  Chip is 13 years old. Chip and Holly are a bonded pair, thus they need to be adopted together!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Holly is a dream boat of perfection!  Her personality, friendliness and outgoing persona is a joy and a delight.   She and her brother, Chip are very bonded.  Little Miss Holly takes such good care of Chip and watches over him, like she's his "seeing eye companion". it's just adorable and heartwarming to watch these two interact.  Both dogs use the doggie door very well. Maya is a special needs little girl.  She was paralyzed from an accident when she was only a few months old.  But that doesn't stop her from running around, she just uses her front legs instead of all four!  She has even been known to race in local dachshund races! Maya will be getting an upgraded 4-wheel cart to help her get around.  She uses diapers and will need help expressing her bladder but she doesn't fuss about it and knows the routine. Maya is looking for a home that understands her special circumstances.  She loves to play and having a playmate would be wonderful, but she is also good at being a single dog.  She loves humans of all ages!  If you are looking for a sweet cuddle bug, put in your application today!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
