Story
History: Limo is a super sweet boy who arrived to rescue in desperate need of a second chance. He is such a handsome and striking boy who is ready to meet his forever home soon! A Note from the Foster: Hi! I’m Limo, a sweet little dachshund with a big heart and an even bigger love for squeaky toys. I’m still learning the world, so carrying a toy around helps me feel confident — and it’s really cute, I’ve been told. I’m learning that humans are safe and cuddles are good. I get a little nervous with being picked up or petted, so I prefer if you move slowly with me and give me time to trust. But I will take treats right from your hand, sit with you on the couch, and I’m very food-motivated — which means training with me can be both fun and rewarding. I have a low-key energy level and relax a lot of the time. I can keep up on walks with my doggy foster brother, but afterward I’m ready to nap and recharge. Most of the time you’ll find me curled up on the couch or in a dog bed, as long as I’m close to someone. I really love being near my people and doggy friends; I’d prefer a home where someone is around a good amount because being alone can feel a little scary for me right now. I keep my crate clean and dry and sleep in there at night (even though, in typical dachshund fashion, I think crates are kinda silly sometimes). I go potty outside most of the time and my foster mama says I’m super smart and will catch onto full potty training quickly with patience and routine. On walks, I was unsure about the leash at first, but I’m getting better every day when following another dog’s lead. Having another dog around makes me brave, so I would love a home with a friendly dog buddy to show me the ropes. Overall, I’m hoping for a patient family, a calm home, and maybe a confident pup friend to help me continue learning. As a typical doxie, I have a little voice and may alert bark here and there, but nothing too crazy. I’m a gentle soul, learning more every day, and hoping to find a family that sees the magic in a dog who’s still discovering the world. If you’ve got a loving home, a soft voice, and maybe a dog friend to guide me… I think we could be something really special. Love, Limo 🐾

Story
Meet Fritz! A confident dachund mix with beautiful blue eyes (with a dash of brown). DOB:12.5.24 Curious and friendly, Fritz loves to seek out attention! He loves treats and will make faces to convince you to give him more. He's a smart little guy and settles in pretty quickly to new situations. He'll explore but come back to check in every couple of minutes. He was raised with another dog so he can be part of a household with other canines. Fritz had a hard start in life where he just didn't get enough food or love. He's making up for lost time! To meet Fritz apply at emotionalrescuedogs.org. He is vaccinated and microchipped. His adoption fee is $500. Emotional Rescue is devoted to helping the most desperate puppies and dogs: those searching for safety, homeless, hungry, often hurt by humans and needing care, love and comfort.  The dog you're reading about wouldn't have survived without rescue.  It has learned to trust and discovered the dog it was meant to be.  When you adopt with Emotional Rescue, you become part of our dog loving community where you can always get support and advice.  You also help the NEXT desperate dog get help at Emotional Rescue because there is now an open spot in a foster home.  You're part of a chain reaction.  Welcome to Emotional Rescue! ##2491206##

Story
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Alfred, or “Alfie” for short, is a sweet chi mix whose little life didn’t get off to a great start and is still working on trusting his surroundings.  He loves to play with other dogs his own size and after a good romp will curl up in the same bed for naptime together.  While he is wary of new people, he is quickly learning that belly pets are kind of a great thing.  He has even learned that if he climbs the pet steps it leads to the foster’s comfy bed where he can snuggle right in! Due to his skittish temperament, it is recommended Alfie be placed in a home with children over the age of 10. A few facts about Alfie: His favorite game is tug. Bring it on! He LOVES to snuggle….with other dogs and in cozy places.  We think with time and patience, he will actually be a real snuggle bug! Alfie comes to you housetrained.  No accidents!  He will bark when excited but is not overly vocal. He really enjoys the companionship of other dogs and would be happiest in a household with another canine friend. While he isn’t afraid of a kennel, he is not considered kennel trained. Alfie has not been cat tested and his prey drive is unknown. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well.  ##2641173##

Story
🐾 Meet Dusty!Dusty is a 6-year-old Dachshund with a sweet soul and a special love for his hedgehog toy 🦔. While he carries it proudly, Dusty is feeling a bit overwhelmed in the shelter environment and can be nervous here.Dusty will need a calm, quiet home where he can decompress, build confidence, and learn to trust his people at his own pace. He would do best in a home without children, where he can feel safe and supported. He’s also looking for a family committed to helping him shed a little extra weight so he can enjoy a long, healthy life. Dusty will need dental care in the near future as well — we’re currently working with our veterinarians to determine the timeline and whether this will need to be completed prior to adoption, or done in the future with his new family. If you’re ready to give this special guy the patience, love, and stability he deserves, apply to meet Dusty at:👉 www.hsbcpets.com/adopt 🐾 If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a Meet & Treat appointment, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt
