Story
Name: Wally Breeds: Wirey Doxie Mix Age: Puppy Sex: Male Size: Small Wally is ready to be your best bud. This pup is truly a keeper. He is sweet as can be and loves all people, big and small. Kids? LOVE THEM! Adults? MY BEST FRIEND! Wally loves to play and run around, but is also content to curl up in your lap and snuggle. He adores other dogs and would love a K9 pal but also would do great with humans that love on him. His favorite activity is to make himself into a ball in your lap and get pets. He is working on potty training and doing well with potty pads/going on regularly, but is a pup and will need continued training and someone who can let him out regularly. He will follow you everywhere just in case you need him, happily trotting just a few steps behind. He has done great in all kinds of new activities, car rides, boat rides, cabin time - loves it all! He is used to being in the kennel and will whimper for awhile but settles in. He is everything you could want in a puppy and can't wait to find his furever family. Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $850 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 6 months of age, deworming, microchip and current preventatives Interested in adopting? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $400 plus taxWalter is a goofy and cuddly guy who wants to be near his people. He loves laying in the sun, going on walks, treats & toys and being under the covers.    Walter needs a fully fenced yard as he can be quite the escape artist. He likes to run for short bursts in the yard and find smells to roll in.  Walter gets along with his two resident dogs, but is still learning polite greetings with new dogs.   Walter is very curious, and needs someone who can be patient and reassure him. He is still working on leash training and is currently demonstrating some reactivity with other dogs. Based on the fosters observations we beleive that Walter may be hard of hearing.   Walter is left home with the resident dogs for a few hours at a time. He is known to be a snoop and counter surfer, so he is put in a room with our resident dog. He will settle when left with a doggy friend.    Walter picks up on patterns and routines quickly. He is not a quiet boy and will express his needs.   At this time, we do not how Walter does with kids or cats. Walter tends to be curious, cautious and skittish around new animals and meeting people outside the home.    Currently we are working on basic obedience and leash etiquette. Walter seems to have some reduced hearing and vision. We suspect it's genetic/congenital. He does not seem to be in any pain from it and we are working with MARS Vet to keep tabs on it. If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. We accept Credit cards, Debit cards as well as cash. At this time we do not accept checks.   Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. Adoption Fees are Non Negotialble. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //

Got room on your couch and in your heart? Then Sizzle might just be your perfect match! This adorable lovebug lives up to his name—he's sizzling with charm, warmth, and enough cuddles to melt even the iciest of days. Sizzle is a certified cuddle expert and will happily be your little spoon, your shadow, or your personal heating pad. Sizzle can be a bit shy at first, especially with new dogs and new people, but don’t let that fool you—his curiosity and playful spirit always shine through. He might hang back for a minute or two, but once he feels safe, he’s all zoomies and tail wags! He wants to make friends, he just takes his time getting there (and a treat or two definitely helps).Sizzle is still mastering a few important life skills—he’s working on potty training and learning that crates aren’t so scary. Leash walking is also a new adventure for him, and he's getting the hang of it one paw at a time. Like any young pup, he’s learning the ropes and would thrive with a patient, loving human to help guide the way. So if you're looking for a furry friend who gives 110% love, has the softest ears, and is ready to be your loyal sidekick, Sizzle is your guy! Adopt Sizzle and turn your life into a snuggle-filled, tail-wagging adventure

Dog friendly - yes Cat friendly- Yes Kid friendly- older, respectful kids only Potty trained- working on it Crate trained- working on it **NEEDS COMPANION DOG IN HOME** NEEDS FENCED YARD** Meet Betsy – A Truly Special Little Girl Looking for Her Forever Home Hi there! My name is Betsy, and I’m a very special pup with a heart full of love. I was born almost completely blind, but that doesn’t stop me from living life to the fullest! At first, I can be a little timid with new people, but once I recognize your voice and your scent, I’ll become your most loyal friend. My blindness doesn’t hold me back—in fact, I can be quite the little stinker! You’d be amazed at the things I manage to find. I love to collect toys and hoard them in my room—it’s kind of my thing! Living with a blind dog is a bit different, but not difficult. I can get startled easily, so I need you to tell me what you’re doing—like when you’re about to pet or pick me up. I’m learning to go potty outside (it’s a work in progress), but I do great with puppy pads. I've already learned the layout of my foster home and can zoom around like a little speed demon! I can be a bit bossy with my foster dog sibling, but we play so well together—and I adore the cat, too! I would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard and another friendly dog to show me the ropes and help me feel safe. My foster family had to “baby-proof” the house for me a bit, which helped a lot. I think I’d do well with older, respectful children who can understand my special needs and learn how to interact with me gently. I already know a few basic commands like “no,” “stay,” and “drop it.” I love to play with toys—especially hiding them—and I rely on my excellent sense of smell and hearing to explore the world around me. I can get nervous when other dogs bark because I can't tell what’s going on, but a calm, reassuring home would help me thrive. I may require a little extra care, but I promise I’m worth it. I’m sweet, beautiful, and bursting with love to give. If you open your heart to me, I’ll fill your life with joy, loyalty, and a whole lot of tail wags.
