"A THREE HOUR TOUR!!" This was the plan... and we thought it was a good one!! I mean we went through a tour company and EVERYTHING!!! However, here we are!! The fun and FABULOUS crew, we were literally living under the sidewalk outside an elementary school!! We would come out and eat from the LUNCH LADY :) and greet the kids! But they didn't want us to stay there, too close to a road AND we are PUPPIES!! So we are with our wonderful foster mums (Moonpie waited for the nice rescue teacher to get out of work before she showed her face!!) and we are READY for ACTION!! ***CUT**** We are somewhat nervous when we first meet you, however, our cute and ADVENTUROUS side comes out pretty quickly! We would each do best with another dog to play with and cuddle with :) ADOPT ONE OF US SOON!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Welcome Mutz to CCPAL Rescue. Mutz is a 3-year-old Daug (Dachshund /Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He has an adorable underbit and has really blossomed at the Rescue. He is a quieter dog and has learned to like to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Meet Lucita (aka Lucy ) — your future snuggle buddy with a splash of sass! At 3 years old, Lucita is the perfect blend of playful and cozy. She’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to a multi-pet home. Originally from Mexico, Lucy is still acclimating to the cold, but she’s learning that sweaters, warm beds, and cuddling close to her people make chilly days much better. Lucy loves being near her humans and will happily follow you from room to room. She’s quiet in her kennel, working on potty training, and is eager to keep learning with a consistent routine. When playtime hits, her spunky and sassy personality shines—especially when she does her cute little hops to let you know she’s ready for fun. She can get a bit mouthy when she’s excited, so a home with older kids who understand dog boundaries would be best. Once she’s gotten her wiggles out, Lucy transforms into the ultimate couch companion and will snuggle up with you for a full movie marathon in bed without complaint. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts playful, affectionate, and loyal—Lucita might just be your perfect match.  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $450.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2026, 9:14 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Junior is a 2-year old Daschund that weighs about 11-12 lbs.    He just came to us from Tijuana, and is just settling into a foster home. Junior came to us very apprehensive and we were told he could nip defensively when scared. So far Junior has not nipped, but we haven't pushed his thresholds too far. We are just letting him feel the stability of settling in to a comfortable setting first. He is getting the message he has consistent meals and care, can go in and outside at will, when he needs to, and has a safe place to take a nap, or sleep, etc.  So far, so good. Junior is responding so well. He is letting down and trusting more and more, seeking, responding. He does seem cheered by the presence of other dogs. Often the timid dogs blossom the most with other dogs.  Right now we are considering a home with another dog for him. If you do not have another dog, we still could assess, depending on how much progress we feel he is making.  We also offer foster to adopt, if you seem like the right fit for the dog. Junior is very precious. You can tell he wants to trust and love. He allows petting all over his body and likes to be near his caretaker, those are great signs!  Junior is working on on housetraining. As long as someone can let him outside frequently, praise him, follow other dogs, etc. we think he will conquer this in no time.  If you would like to learn more about Junior, please submit an interest form on our website:    https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@8 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2026, 3:44 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Cadbury — a little chocolate drop of sweetness with a heart as rich as my name! 🍫My story started in Alabama, where life felt pretty uncertain for a while. Thankfully, an angel discovered me and found me the help I needed. Before I knew it, I was on my way to Minnesota, where I was welcomed into a warm foster home. Just a few days later, I delivered five beautiful, healthy puppies surrounded by love and care. It was the sweetest fresh start a girl could ask for!My puppies are growing up and heading off to their forever homes, and now I’m told it’s my turn to find a family of my very own. Here are the important details: I’m housetrained, not much of a barker (unless there’s a reason), and I can be trusted to relax at home without needing a kennel. I’m gentle, affectionate, and always happy to accept a treat or two.I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but that just means I take my friendships seriously. Once I know I’m safe, my loyal and loving personality really shines. I bond deeply with my people and promise to give back so much love.I may be a “shortie,” but I’m more athletic than I look and enjoy a good romp! Leashes aren’t my favorite invention yet, but I’m willing to cooperate when it means spending time with my people. I’m a great car rider — just give me a cozy spot and I’ll curl up for a nap. I love couch cuddles and cozy nights in, but now that spring is arriving, I’m also enjoying sunshine, fresh air, and all the exciting new smells outside. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your love with devotion, cuddles, and a lifetime of friendship, I just might be your perfect match. I can’t wait to meet you! 💛🐾***FOSTER TO ADOPT*** Cadbury is in our Foster to Adopt Program because she is not yet spayed. Her spay will be coming up soon. If you are interested in adopting Cadbury, please fill out an Adoption Application. All medical needs other than her spay will be the responsibility of the Foster to Adopt home. The spay is covered by the rescue and will be done through our vets. Once the spay is complete, the adoption will be finalized. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
vanilla #927 Age: 5 years old Color & Breed: Tricolor Basset Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 37 pounds Requires: Fenced yard and confident companion dog There’s absolutely nothing plain about Vanilla #927! This 5-year-old tricolor basset is looking for her forever home with someone who appreciates her sweet demeanor. Plot twist, she actually prefers spray cheese from a can to ice cream cones. Who knew? ‘Nilla feels safest when wrapped in a blanket (because nothing scary could be under a blanket.) If she can be joined by a bunch of stuffed animals, all the better. Because she’s still shy, a home with a fenced-in yard and lots of patience is needed. She's mostly potty trained, although sometimes things are just...scary. Vanilla doesn’t need other dogs for comfort but does like to hide behind them when she’s scared (because she knows that having a slower friend means the T-rex will get them first.) Vanilla is still learning how to relax and trust. With time (and enough cheese), she’ll learn how to be the best companion basset the world has ever seen. Add some Vanilla to your house! Story
Bellamy #975 Age: 7.5 years old Color & Breed: Tricolor Basset Gender: Neutered Male Weight: 60 pounds Bellamy and Cornelius are a bonded pair of basset males that came to MNBR when their family could no longer afford their medical care or basic necessities. Cornelius was in urgent need of bladder stone removal surgery and Bellamy needed a dental and has a leg that’s been swollen for months. Both boys were seen at our vet on 1/28 and got everything they needed. Nelly had one large, one medium, and several small stones removed from his bladder. He will need to be on a prescription diet going forward and should be checked regularly for stones. Belly was diagnosed with a hygroma which is more annoying than anything else and will hopefully subside with time. Story
Orchid #967 Age: 6 years old Color & Breed: Red/White Basset Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 41 pounds Orchids bloom with care, and Orchid #967 is ready to thrive. This 6-year-old red-and-white female came from a commercial breeder and is ready to let her guard down and love with her whole heart. Orchid is learning many new things, like walking on a leash, getting housetrained, and what the heck is making those weird loud noises she doesn’t like. Orchid LOVES stuffed toys and enjoys the company of other dogs. She could adjust to any kind of yard situation, although a fence would be best since she’s still a little shy. A quiet home full of toys and patient people is just the type of “greenhouse” Orchid needs.
