Story
Meet Belle! The name is Belle, or Belle of the ball! I am a 10 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. I weigh about 15lbs, though I should be closer to 13lbs, but I used to weigh 22lbs! So it’s all how you look at it. I was with my owner since I was a little puppy, but due to their failing health I landed myself with Albert’s Dog Lounge. Since I’ve always known a loving life, I love love love people! I enjoy meeting new ones, but most of all I just want to be close to my humans, no matter where they are. I like to play fetch with my humans too! I am such a good little girl. I do have some bad knees, but I’m happy to go on a nice stroll around the block. Sometimes, I will go up and down steps, but sometimes I want you to carry me. I have no problem jumping on the couch to lay right by you though! I don’t mind other dogs or cats. Sometimes, I may tell another dog to not to get to close to me and my human, but I’m all talk. Unfortunately, I do have some bladder issues. When I arrived to Wisconsin, I had a very bad UTI that took over a month to get over! I also had a bladder stone…the size of my bladder. I was put on food special for dogs with bladder stones. I’m happy to report my bladder stone is significantly smaller and so far it looks like I won’t need surgery to remove it! I will need to stay on this type of food for the rest of my life to make sure the stone goes away completely and that no new ones form. Because I had these bladder issues, it has made me unable to hold my urine appropriately, especially when I’m sleeping. I did start a medication that will hopefully help me strengthen my bladder muscles to stop the leaking. I will wear a diaper if you need me to (so I can sleep in bed with you) or I would do just fine sleeping on a dog bed that’s washable or that has a waterproof cover on it. Now you know the good, bad and ugly about me, and I hope you still love me just the way I am! I'm looking for my forever family who is going to love and care for me just the way that I do them. I had it once, and I know I deserve it again! *Belle is being fostered in the Green Bay area. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Learn more about Albert's Dog Lounge, our mission, and adoption policies by visiting Albertsdoglounge.org. Begin your application process by copying this link into your web browser: https://www.albertsdoglounge.org/apply WI Dept. Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.

Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 6/01/2023 Litter Name: Three's Company Estimated Date of Birth: 2/23/2023 Dog Name: Jack Sex: Male Estimated Breed Mix: Dachshund / Terrier Mix Description: I am around 4 months and 8 pounds. My scruffy coat of white and cream, with an adorable underbite makes me super cute but, I am also  super social.  I love just being with you and who ever you hang with.   Also I am very outgoing and would make a fun agility prospect.   I sleep through the night in my kennel with my siblings but would love a family of my own, and doing great on potty training. Adoption Fee: $550.00  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. June 2, 2023, 9:01 pm

Story
Max Needs Compassionate, Seizure Experienced Owner Max is a year old, we believe CHIH Min Pin Mix, although Paperwork says Doxie Pom mix, weighing between 10 and 15 pounds who came to Tiny Paws as Owner Surrender. Immediately Foster witnessed severe seizures which Video is too painful to watch. Was he born this way, was he injured at Owner’s Home, we have no idea? We do know Max is a very loving pup and gets along fine with other Dogs but must not have over zealous companion. His gait is compromised although he gets around well. Concerned Winter weather will be challenging but Foster puppy pad trained him. Could be perfect Apartment dog but must be able to carry him if steps involved. Located in Thorpe, WI; Approved Application required and Fee negotiable due to Max’s needs to continue on Seizure Meds. Plz Contact Foster Mom Nikki Heck at (715) 316-1052 for more info. Get a jump on it and complete an App at www.tinypawssmalldogrescue.org and bring Little Lover Max into your home!!! Adoption fee is $200

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Chico is a sweet feisty teeny tiny chihuahua with a special situation. He is a fully grown 4 pound 1 yr old dude who is healing from his second leg break. He has been in his cast for 8 weeks and has at least 4 more to go.  Then likely some rehabilitation afterwards to gain muscle back and remind him to use his now healed leg. For this reason we are looking for a Foster to Adopt situation. He has been in foster care for said 8 weeks, but he’s ready to start his forever life. Because Chico has proven to have such delicate bones, the last two breaks have been from jumping off of a bed, he will have strict guidelines while looking for his new family to ensure we minimize the break risk.  1) No kids under 10 due to little kids not having enough body-conscious awareness.  This can also be said about adults who move too fast or are not able to subconsciously keep his whereabouts in their mind. Or if your a free-for-all family, he is not your ideal dog.  2) Due to his toothpick bones  - no dogs over 15 pounds (fully grown) or dogs who like to body slam in play.  He loves to play with his foster sisters, and he would encourage rough play but for his safety, this needs to be monitored and controlled. 3) You must be willing to separate and contain him as needed for his safety in your environment, as well as being able to provide stairs and other necessary equipment. This will be discussed further with the foster parents.  This doesn’t have to be a big deal but should give you pause to assess your environment and decide if you have enough space, in your traffic area, to give up for a small kennel and pen area that he can use.  We also don’t want him stuffed in the back room having no contact with others.  4) If, after considering all that, you still are interested in this little apple of our eye, we have one more thing for you to think on. Chico didn’t act like a dog when he first arrived. His Foster family has worked really hard to show and teach him what it is like to be a dog. And he loves his new freedom on life.  Chico is NOT a doll or a baby (even though he loves a good cuddle and to perch on your chest) so if you’re looking for a pocket pet he is not for you.  He needs a family that can keep him physically safe while simultaneously letting him act like a normal dog, as much as possible.  In the end, Chico is just a dog and wants to be a dog. He is long and skinny and jumps like a kangaroo. He’s a very fast little runner, and I suspected once he gets his cast off, he will be hard to catch. He is not potty trained, but consistently goes potty when taken out and seems to howl in his pen when he wants to go out potty. He will also howl when he feels lonely in there or didn’t get enough cuddle time before bed or it’s time for you to wake up!!  He is also a very fussy eater-eek. He despises the cold, so be prepared to have a few sweaters on hand, and mountains of blankets for him to crawl under, maybe even a dog heating pad in the winter. He was skeptical of strangers at first, but has been warming up quicker as long as they give him time and don’t just swoop him into their arms. Animal is fostered in New Berlin, Wi For more information, or to apply for adoption, visit our website at: www.RescueOutreach.com Please note the following will be performed on all animals prior to adoption: Microchip Spay/Neuter (unless medically unable at time of adoption, in which case this will be discussed) Heartworm Testing (dogs);    FELV/FIV Testing (cats) Age appropriate CORE vaccines.  Dhpp, Rabies (if old enough)-dog;  CVR, Rabies (if old enough) - cat  - WE DO NOT ADMINISTER BORDETELLA unless indicated.   PLEASE NOTE- puppies and kittens may need to complete vaccination schedule depending on age at time of adoption.   Dewormed All breeds are best guess from veterinarian based on physical exam.  All animals come from high kill shelters with poor access to resources.  Once they arrive to our rescue they are quarantined for health purposes and spoiled in loving foster homes until their forever home is found!  Our organization is operated 100% by volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts.   ##1671547##

Story
Hi, my name is Kyley a chihuahua mix, I will be 6 in June. I weigh 12 pounds. My brother is Wylie, and he weighs 15 pounds. We need to find a new home because our mom can no longer care for us. We are looking for a new home, so that we can give all the love we have and only ask that you love us back. We are good with other animals, and we love to play to play with children. We are housebroken but recently since our mom can’t take us out as much, we will use a potty pad. We love cuddles and playing. We are microchipped and spayed and neutered. Before we go to our new home we will be up to date on shots. So, if you think you have room in your heart for us, we would love to be part of your family. Please contact Liz at lizkraus2022@outlook.com and fill out an application at tinypawssmalldogrescue.org. Our adoption fee is 850.00.
