This handsome guy is Presley, a 2yo Doberman mix, and he’s in need of a fresh start.He escaped death row at the shelter in Modesto at the request of his first foster, only to have her become another human to fail him. She failed to follow our guidelines, allow him decompression time, or set boundaries, and as a result he became fearful and bit her. Despite public backlash and demands that we kill him immediately, we refused to give up on this boy and placed him in an intensive board and train program. His trainer says he is a good dog who would do best in a home with experienced dog owners and without kids or cats. He is potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained. He could settle into a routine with someone who works out of the home, or with people more present in the home. We are offering four training sessions with Timeless K9 as part of his adoption to be sure he is set up for success!  Presley is a good boy who is eager to please, but his history and the humans who failed him have continued to follow him, taking every opportunity to talk negatively about him to anyone interested in giving him a chance. Presley deserves a fresh start without the words of humans who have failed him in the past haunting him.  Apply via our website northwestwagrescue.org Adoption Fee $350 ##1774424##

He is housebroken, current on his shots, neutered and microchipped. He is about 45 lb, heartworm negative and is kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Rusty is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. Hi, my name is Vieja, I know my name means old, but really, I am a perfect age for a new family, I am mostly over my puppy stage and not into my tired and lazy stage. I am a happy and well-adjusted dog who loves to play with other dogs and loves kids. I am a hunter by nature so cats wouldn’t be a good thing for me.Car rides are one of my favorite things, I like to stick my head out the window so I can catch all the scents out there. I especially like car rides when they end up at the beach. I am not much of a swimmer but I love to wade and play in the water.
