You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog. Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites. Auggie came to us from a shelter as a nearly 6 month old who was emaciated, barely able to stand and walk weighing 27 pounds. He had several sets of labs done and nothing indicated a medical reason for his poor condition so it was pure starvation. He's made a complete recovery and weighs a healthy 64 pounds now! He is a young teenager and now that he's healthy, he's active and still doesn't realize his size. So we are saying no kids, small dogs or cats. He's not mean but pounces on them and could hurt them but always scares them when he does it. He walks on leash but has recently started to pull some. He's great with crate training. He will bark when it's time to eat or he needs to potty. Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented. Scout is great with kids, good with cats, and loves other dogs — he previously lived with our husky (who just found her new forever home) and really thrives with a canine buddy to play with. He has a gentle, goofy personality, enjoys walks and outdoor time, and has a natural protective instinct while staying a total softie with his family. We love him deeply, but due to upcoming life changes, we can’t give him the space and activity he deserves. Scout would do best in a home with room to run and (ideally) another friendly dog. Rescued from a high-kill shelter in Roswell, New Mexico, Faith has already beaten the odds — she is a distemper survivor, proof that this tiny girl is as strong as she is sweet. She also had dental work done to remove painful teeth, and now she’s feeling so much healthier and ready for her happily ever after. Personality & Temperament Faith is the definition of a couch potato. Calm, gentle, and low-energy, she prefers soft blankets, cozy beds, and your arms over anything else. She would happily spend her days lounging, napping, and soaking up affection. If you open your arms, she melts right into you. She’s best paired with other low-energy dogs.
