Story
Kaya (Pronounced K-Uh) was born in Idaho in July 2020, weight is approx. 60lbs. She has been with our family since she was 8weeks old. She was raised with a family of 2 children and she plays well with other dogs. She is on the smaller side of dobies and she loves to try and sit in your lap! Kaya loves to play ball and run. She loves to howl at sirens and planes, but she is adapted to a bark collar when needed. Kaya has been an outdoor dog and is good at warning us when vehicles approach. She has been in a crate indoors as needed and when traveling. She bathes well and tolerates her nails being trimmed. She uses a gentle lead when walking. She is microchipped, rabies and Dap expire March 2026, blood work was done in 2025 and was on Proin for incontinence, but discontinued due to her being outdoors. We are moving and are unable to take her due to housing restrictions.

Unexpected Litter of 8 from an from a rescue..they are so fun and sleep well through the night...playful, silly and growing...loves scritches and pets and will curl up on your lap for a snuggle. 1st round of vax 12/31... 5 males left (Rufus, Finn, Ferb, Luke, and Hank), 1 female (Sami). Reach out for specifics. We just don't have room for 6 growing dogs along with our adult dogs.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Auggie came to us from a shelter as a nearly 6 month old who was emaciated, barely able to stand and walk weighing 27 pounds.  He had several sets of labs done and nothing indicated a medical reason for his poor condition so it was pure starvation.  He's made a complete recovery and weighs a healthy 64 pounds now!   He is a young teenager and now that he's healthy, he's active and still doesn't realize his size.  So we are saying no kids, small dogs or cats.  He's not mean but pounces on them and could hurt them but always scares them when he does it.    He walks on leash but has recently started to pull some.  He's great with crate training.  He will bark when it's time to eat or he needs to potty.   Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 18, 2026, 4:30 pm

She will require a securely fenced yard.  She walks on a leash, is crate trained, house trained and likes car rides. She loves playing in water.  L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic.
